Linked from Londonbikers.com, makes for pretty scary reading:

:puzzled: Bloody hell, glad i live in the sticks.Anyone tries stealing my bike,i'm coming after them with a combine harvester:barfy:

If the thieves are found they should be put in a very large mincer together with the other attackers and ground to pulp.

By commiting these acts they forgoe any rights which society has bestowed on them and therefore have no rights to live in that society.

We as ordinary people have every right to protection from scum like this.

Instead of spending billions on protecting people in Iraq we should quadruple our police forces who are trying to protect us ( The front line officers are anyway ) and take the fear from us and pass it on to the criminal vermin in our midst.

Oh... and then we can sack all the insipid lily livered judges too.

:flame:

khu996 08-Oct-2005 21:53

While we're talking about 'insipid lily livered judges', we could do with getting shot of the Magistrates Court system.

A bunch of old farts, who obviously have no idea of whats really going on around them, bestowed with the sentencing powers of a highly educated chimpanzee.

Take this for instance, a 14 yr old lad gets locked up in Swansea the other week. Early on in the evening, he violently robs a 73 yr old woman, alone in the street, of her handbag, and later, smashes the front windows of 3 houses in his area...coughs everything, what does he get? A 10 month referral order? WTF is that all about? FFS!!!:mad:

Don`t get me started!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I just feel its a real shame the Government are prepared to spend a fortune on catching speeding vehicles, but appear to have little interest in this type of crime..........nothing to do with incoming revenue?!?!?!?

Maybe if we all agreed to pay £100 if they actually found our stolen vehicles more effort would be put in to doing so?

But then do we not pay for the Government and Police anyway, looking at my tax bill we seem to pay quite handsomely.

The public house was a known drugs den with 'customers' carrying 2 ft knives, well get a couple of those traffic cops out of there nice warm high powered cars and deal with it.................well I will get my coat now, enough venting done for a Sunday morning.

Chaz 09-Oct-2005 13:16

& the police stuggle to catch a cold.

rcgbob44 09-Oct-2005 23:22

The police are not interested unless there`s money to be made.

There not even interested in clearing up a crime when a result is placed in front of them, why!, cos there`s no money to be screwed from an individual!:flame::flame::flame:

swannymere 10-Oct-2005 00:10

 There's no point blaming the police,i'm fairly sure 99% would like to be out there with a baseball bat and no chance of prosecution! It comes down to the goverment, they instruct the police on what to do,what crimes to go after.I'm also not blaming the current mob in charge, the slide started under the tories.

khu996 10-Oct-2005 00:32

I don't think the Police are to blame. Theres only a certain amount an organisation with limited manpower and resources can achieve. If they had more manpower and money...who knows?

m1keyp 10-Oct-2005 20:26

Its the system.

On the 23rd December last year I stopped a drunk getting into his car, having stopped him I discovered that he was carrying a knife:(

I got the knife from the piece of shite and along came the police.

The sentence?????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????

Community rehabilitation..............................Or f**k all.

Tough on crime tough on the causes of crime what ********

What a country, persecution of the law abiding for the smallest infringment and nothing for real criminality.

I ride loads in Wales.

Just a few ideas which can save your license or grief off the cops.

1. Wear a clear visor & use shades instead.

2. Fit a full size numberplate.

3. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN If you are paying attention you can see the camera vans & speed traps miles away.

4. Read the local papers - they tell you where the traps are going to be!

5. Keep off the main routes where the cops congregate. There are some superb roads where you will never see a cop.( or many cars )

6. Get up early. I get back home just as most bikes are going out and getting stuck behind caravans etc. which make for dodgy/dangerous overtakes.

I do have a set of termi's fitted but have got away with it so far - mainly because I follow the above.

I've tried to buck the system in the past & got banned etc.

Now I just want an easy life!

Phil

Phil, I do all as you suggest but I live up here and they are as likely to pull you going to work as on a Sunday.
As for the traps, go to www.arrivealive.org.uk when in Wales

True

It never ceases to amaze me though how many bikes I see hurtling along a straight ( Main road into Bala for instance ) and slamming on brakes 50 yards away from a camera van. Bingo, three points!

I'll probably get done this week-end now after coming over all ''holier than thou.'':D
