I gorra new bike! well... not really a new bike, but AK has been beavering away in the garage this evening, and now the Tango Queen is a 'proper' road bike. He has put back on the mirrors, horn, the headlight, changed the brembo radial cyl to the std one (so have brake lights now), added the side stand - and removed the tail pod, so has been able to attach the tea tray with indicators and with the number plate. Now, just cant wait till the next daylight hours (after I have taxed & insured her officer:P ) - to try her out! Am keeping my fingers xx'd it will be dry to have a run to Findon this Sunday (I hate wet!:( ) Hubbie has gold a gold star now:D C:roll: |
I look forward to seeing the tango Queen.. Charlotte. Should be up for a run to Findon on Sunday i finally have a weekend off. :) Clint. |
Hmmm have you enough power ????? second thoughts you women have to much power :lol::lol::lol: |

obviously not enough tho:( AK is just setting off down the road on her, for a quick 'test':mad::mad: Rushjob - get your mates on the blower - NOW!!!!:flame: Stolen bike alert............. Husbands eh? |

Endangered species, husbands, in my experience! I hope to be "tangoed" at Findon on Sunday, Charlotte! :D |
He will be endangered if he doesnt get back soon! C, stamping her foot in a very petulant way |
Nice bike that ;) Don't forget the Nitros kit :o :) |
if it had some matey, you might have not been so 'relaxed' (as quoting from your own posting!) :P He's home now - bike all ok & now locked in garage & I have hidden ALL the keys!:ninja: |
That husband of yours dun arf have a lot to cope with, Mrs :P:P:P He tailor makes the bike for you, he is gracious enough to make sure it's safe for your highness's ar$e to rest on and all you can do is winge. IMHO he should be getting wifely type thanks for all he does for you. But, Hey, here speaks a woman who hasn't managed to keep a husband yet, so what do I know :P:P:P:sing: |
Treat em mean and keep em keen.....Erm....well....that's what I heard anyway:saint: |

you reckon? :P Quote:
He did/does, til he took a sorn'd bike out - without 'other' legality things... Quote:
I'm on my second:lol::lol: but I'll keep him, as I never need 'passouts' for DSC meets:smug::smug: |
Wel - just been out for a 2hr ride on her:D Few different things from her majesty (and others monsters, as have 'tested' all except the S2R) to note, some good - some not so. Handling round bends - excellent:cool: goes where you put it. Drive out of corners - good for its engine size Steering - stiff in straight lines :puzzled: Suspension set up - also excellent Height - taller, so had only one toe down when stopping:o Acceleration on open road - much better than a 583, but otherwise pants:o (my 750ie had more mid range - in MY opinion) Slipper clutch: not a proper one (like I've used on a 999) :( - shame, but it is much lighter than ANY other Ducati I've ridden (Better to use clutchless upshifts really) Diablos: great:ninja: Top speed (Rushjob close your ears!:P ) 115 before my turning came up on the private road I was using, but not to comfy, as no screen to tuck in behind, so had to 'hang on' to the bars:o Overall - sweet little soul, no probs in using her as my winter hack:cool: ...if I'm allowed to.... |
Sounds like you've had a great afternoon. Glad the old girl is going to get out this winter :lol: Rgds, Rob |
Rob..... do you mean me:flame: or the bike:cool: as I'm usually out most w/ends all year round, I take it you mean Tango:P C:lol: |
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm:frog: |
:saint: |
But seriously, if I was refering to you, would I use the word "OLD"? ;) |
not backpeddalling Rob?:P :lol::lol: :devil: |
Me, na. Just being a Gent' as always:D |
