wilf 15-Oct-2005 23:39

Aye up Ace,

its the upgrade kit for your 05 999S Termi.

Your bike comes with the 'asymetric' half system, so this is the upgrade pipework that uses your Termi end can to upgrade to the full 57mm balanced race system and unlock that power!

You get the upgraded ecu, race air filters and pipework.

sexy as hell!!!

the 2005 perf catalogue is at...

http://www.motorapido.co.uk/clothing...ccessories.php

ace 15-Oct-2005 23:44

and has any body got any idea wot a brand new asymmetric system wiv ecu fort 999s is worth ? (or should i have put this on market bit ? ) but then wot do you need from asym...... to go with the transfomation kit !!!!! help !!!:(

ace 15-Oct-2005 23:49

cheers wilf , craig mailed me an said he,d give me full details mon ! so basically i use the can iv,e got an the kit gives me new plumbin ! or i sell my asymm.... an buy a can an the kit !!!!

wilf 15-Oct-2005 23:52

ace,

you need to keep your end can and carbon cover to go with the upgrade kit.

so you an sell the asymetric link pipe, (worth about £100 ish )

You could sell the ECU for the asyemetric but, as the 999S comes with this you may find it hard to find a buyer. (only fits this model)

If you want the upgrade kit, give me a call at the shop and i'll give you something back for the link pipe and work you out a deal.

wilf 15-Oct-2005 23:55

ace,

sorry, reply overlapped with yours.

cool, talk to craig, will give you a part ex on your asymetric kit if you want a deal on the full system, may make it sensible money!

ace 15-Oct-2005 23:58

the pipework might fit, as they both have the fabricated swinging arm and the deep sump engine (i think) but the ecu would not work.

as it is a ducati part you should be able to check with any ducati dealer (like JHP)

iang 16-Oct-2005 11:18

Hmm, My thoughts exactly, will it fit the 749R assymetric system as it too is 54mm fittings I believe.

I cannot justify the price of the 57mm kit or the constantly breaking titanium exhaust cans so if the pipework is available separately as it usually is with the other systems it will be a relatively cheap upgrade using the assymetric kits ecu and filters then javing it set up to suit.

What exhaust guard will it use, the normal one ??
