Black standard footrests I decided to get my standard footrests anodized black like the new 'xerox' replica has and although they have not turned out as 'black' as I would have liked ( Type of alloy apparently ) they still match the carbon and other black bits on the bike. OK for £20 I suppose. |
Another one |
Looks good, and for 20 quid - BARGAIN! |
Nice touch, like it. |
nice |
Interesting idea. I like it. |
Never thought to get the side stand done while I was on, when the stand is down it looks out of place with the rest being black. Winter project ! |
:eureka:Great idea,looks very cool:eureka: |
I agrre with the earlier comments made, they look mighty fine to me, couple of points where did you get them done? and where did you get you frame plugs from?cheers:) |
Yep, looking good...get the sidestand done and it'll all look great :D |
I got the frame plugs made by a guy called Ron Ridley, he has various designs to choose from and they are all hand made, the only plugs he does not make are the large oval ones ( I got mine from Casoli ) If your frame is the round bottom hole he can make one to fit. I think mine were about £50 and the casoli ones the same. Contact rocket-ron@ntlworld.com I got my footrests done at a place in Northumberland called Premier plating, Website http://www.premierplating.co.uk/home.html Any platers that do anodizing can do it, I dismantled the parts myself and you MUST remove the brass bushes from the levers or the acid will disolve them, they are easy to remove, it only took them 2 days for the job. |
Look good. ;) |
For anyone in the Nth west I had my speed triple hangers done at North West enamelers in Buckley near Chester. Brilliant job too. |
