Years ago we used to take a stereo out with us in the Carrier on nights to keep us amused.
I can recommend responding to a job with the Miami Vice theme playing LOUD to get you in the mood.....

Did you steal my mp3/cd collection last time you were here Martin:)

I've had a very chilled out week, background music whilst preparing graphics and A/V for a presentation so nothing too distracting:
cafe del mar - 25th anniversary
tosca - J.A.C
thievery coporations - Den of thieves
troublemakers - expressway
Quantic Soul - Stampede
terranova - peace is tough

MARTIN H 22-Oct-2005 13:16

I will have to have a listen to some of this music of yours that I have never heard (or heard of come to that!) Have had a real delve into a lot of my old lps and cds this last week, forced myself to listen to stuff I have not heard in years which took me back to different times in my life. I had forgot all about The The etc and suchlike. Hate to admit it but I even found and listened to some old Peter gabriel lps! Quite enjoyed em as well! He was mates with a bloke I used to work for years ago and I met him once and he was a nice bloke, so i thought he deserved a listen! I wish I had more inclination to find more new stuff like yourself, although its quite nice rediscovering old faves.

ScottyB 08-Feb-2006 15:16

The Clash - Train in Vain one of the best albums EVER!

Really into the Artic Monkeys just now, can't stop listening to their stuff

A bit of coldplay.

Going through a phase of listening to all my old Levelers albums..........aahhhhhhhh the memories....

Music is great for turning back the clock, not sure if it is a squaddie thing or not but songs always seem to help you remember key moments in your Army career, what tour you were on, which ugly German bird you were biffing or whatever!!!!:D
