I wish I'd worked harder at school after seeing that lot:(:(:(

But at the end of the day it's only money - :bouncy:

Jools 08-Nov-2005 17:52

I'm in the "earn quite a bit, but spend more than I earn" category - so I'm always skint.

I put it down to stupid forays into business (15 years ago) that cost me tens and tens and tens of thousands and pesky kids that have cost me tens and tens of thousands.

But that's all behind me now, the last bills for the kids were paid out a couple of months ago with my daughter's wedding and my son's graduation - they're both working so I'm free of any fixed financial obligation to them

Pretty soon I should be laughing all the way to the bank....

:rodent::"Jools...you've reckoned without your lousy financial management skills and your ability to max out credit cards"

Jools: "Oh yeah...Sh**"

Tonio600 08-Nov-2005 17:52

I'm an exploited French. Fortunately there is the DSC to keep me here :)

No Butch, the question was how much do you earn... not how much you spend on titanium every month...

TP 08-Nov-2005 20:34

Well, how much I earn depends on how much I work! Having had nearly two months off work, although one month of that was paid for :D, it changes the equation somewhat ...

... but I wouldn't have voted if it was a public poll. And I'm not going to tell you lot how much I earn :P

GsxrAge 08-Nov-2005 20:39

hmm 7 over 100k :o

Only wish I was one of them :D

Glyn 08-Nov-2005 20:45

o.k i lied

Rob B 08-Nov-2005 20:54

CK, Anyone,

So this is, I assume, all before tax???

Have you looked at the daily rate. We always use 220 work days a year, but this lot seem to use 175. I want their jobs. Doesn't make sense to me!

Rgds, Rob

I think it's human nature to quote the biggest number - the number I used when on the website was a before tax number.

Jon 08-Nov-2005 21:16

Where's the one for Millions. His lordship will be along soon and he only works in mils:o

chicken 08-Nov-2005 21:45

Was tempted to answer honestly but I don't think I will now

no Chi, I havent - tho will be looking for a job in the new year.

[start ramble]
Got sent the link, which then provoked thought & discussion in the office.
Then I got to thinking about how some here say the racing is 'cheap' - and how it doesnt cost 'much' more to go outside the UK for a meeting.. so that led to me doing a 'snap' poll of salary...... see where I was going?

C, who sleeps in the van at race rounds, cos we cant afford B & B - but the atmosphere is lovely anyway:cool:

/rambling over]

guest1 08-Nov-2005 22:19

Wow, in the top 24.4%. Why doesn't that make me feel any richer?
At the end of the day it's only money. He who dies with the most money - still dies.
Quality of life is what counts (oh, and owning a Duke)

What's the point in having anything when you know that a divorce that's not even your fault will be found against you and wipe you out. Sounds bitter but the truth.

Yep, wiped out completely in 98/99 when I left the Navy and asked the first wife to leave.

Come a long way in 6 years, but still only riding a 748, and can't afford to go racing...

I do lead a very rich life though :)
