2006 Trackday(s)!!!

Provisional dates for 2006 club trackdays are:

May 31st Brands Indy - cancelled
August 21st and 22nd Cadwell Park
September 26th Oulton Park - cancelled

Form an orderly queue-no shoving at the back now.......

Best start saving (or dropping hints for Xmas)-it could be an expensive year.:lol::lol:

Hi Monty,

Which one is the "Members Only, Ducatis Only" Blue Riband event for the club ???

Or are all three / four ????

Not sure the club can support 3 months of consecutive "restricted entry" trackdays, just my opinion mate ...

Good luck though .....

GsxrAge 09-Nov-2005 20:13

Bugger can't do brands in may as I have one at llandow on the 2nd june

But could be up for cadwell in August

Monty 09-Nov-2005 20:17

The intention is that since this is a Ducati club they will ALL be restricted to Ducati's-but who knows? Since it is over 6 months until the first one I would hope we will be able to sell it out.

No mate-it's a club only event, JPM is trying to organise something with Mark at NoLimits to take a block of spaces at one of his events so you would be mixing with his other riders.

John

Jon 09-Nov-2005 20:21

Monty you can put me down as a positive for one of them.

If you open the other dates up to members with no ducati bikes.
You can make it all three.

bradders 09-Nov-2005 20:54

I think DSC memebrs on any bike would appeal more and even I, with my ARRAGGGHHH attitude would accept that!! ....yep for all three for me depending on cost (of course!!)

JPM 09-Nov-2005 21:14

Good work Monty!!!

Ian, as Monty says I'm sorting one out for earlier in the year at Oulton with No limits, the plan is to get it before the DD round to get a few of them up for that

I actually had an email from Mark last week so dates will be sorted shortly :)

HW 09-Nov-2005 21:22

My intention was to try some other circuits next year, seeing as my bike knows it's way round Cadwell on it's own now!

Brands in May - very proabably.
Cadwell in Aug - can't, we'll be just on our way back from holiday on 21st.
Oulton Park in Sept - definately.

Brent 09-Nov-2005 21:22

I'll be there at Brands again!

Washboard 09-Nov-2005 21:28

'Ducati's and other V-twins' would work for me, I should have the Mifuni Kronos C90 finished by then!

Bionicle 09-Nov-2005 23:04

Yep put me down for cadwell.

Not sure I can to be honest :sniff:

We'll be flying back from Auckland on the 21st so I doubt I will be around. It's a bloody long way.

Henners 09-Nov-2005 23:28

I\'m with Bradders ...

... this club is about the members not what they ride. Propose members only trackdays as that way we can be pretty sure of courtious behaviour compared with anyone on a Ducati/anything else approach. After all, you don't have to own a Ducati to become a member of this club .... :saint:

Henners you've had soooooo many bikes over the last three years, its a wonder you even remember what make you actualy have !!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Monty 10-Nov-2005 00:02

I have been thinking about this tonight and MAY change this to members only-I date would have to be Ducati only I feel and the others members only-I will discuss this with the MT and all will be made clear when the booking form is released-soon before you all start nagging me.:P

I know, shock horror! Mind you, we'll have just been sailing around the Cook Islands to Tonga on a "tall ship" for 3 weeks, then 4 days in Auckland on the way home, so I'll live I guess!

Ambition for next year is to get to know the other UK circuits anyway, and maybe even give Snetterton another go. Maybe.

ducati 10-Nov-2005 00:57

non ducati bikes well count me in for the lot:D
i'll show you boy's what my gixer can do:devil::devil::devil:

GsxrAge 10-Nov-2005 01:05

I havn't done a DSC track day yet but I have no problem with Jap bikes being on track as long as they belong to the DSC.

Can't wait to see Henners on the blade with stabilisers :lol:

HW 10-Nov-2005 01:05

I would have thought DSC member only, but any bike would be reasonable. It's the people that count, it's a club day not a "one brand" day. Just my 4 penneth worth.

BDG 10-Nov-2005 01:14

Yippee put me down for Oulton

Boo Hiss, can't do Cadwell coz of on my jollys.

:puzzled:Where's Brands, never heard of it, sounds a bit too many miles for me, i don't travel very well:lol:

webbyc 10-Nov-2005 07:27

Excellent news, especially Brands, hopefully be able to do the lot. Now where can i get some track fairings and a van?::D

butch890 10-Nov-2005 07:33

As discussed on the phone last night put the kettering massive down for all 3.(both days at cadders)

Dave G 10-Nov-2005 09:31

I have three Ducati's,wont take any of them on a track.Got a nc30 for that, maybe I'll come along and watch instead.

AK 10-Nov-2005 09:40

Our plans:

Brands: very likely, prob taking 4 bikes between us, Andy & Paul

Cadwell: depending on finances, one day (but as AK's 50th is on the 19th, I might just have to forgo the treat I was booking elsewhere:o )

Oulton: no, as will be up there before DD round instead.

dickieducati 10-Nov-2005 09:45

nuts.....cant do brands already!

cadwell a possibilty.

oulton probably not as its most likely after DD race and a chuffing long way for me to go.

great selection of trackdays though.

JPM 10-Nov-2005 10:50

CK/Dickie..

That's why the NW unofficial DSC TD at Oulton will be just before the DD round

dickieducati 10-Nov-2005 11:05

funky......looking forward to hearing when it is.

ak47 10-Nov-2005 11:50

great stuff Jon,

definitely brands and cadwell, where do I sign????:D

We already know what Gixers can do, and if we had wanted a gixer we would have bought one.

The reason we ride Ducati's is cos they are NOT gixers..........

brave words mate - a few of the DD racers may show you what a 620 SS/Monster can do, and then there's Chillo on his 999R!!

JPM 10-Nov-2005 12:46

Probably a manky yellow 750 too

MJS 10-Nov-2005 12:57

Would like to think I'll be in for Brands and Oulton having never done either of them before. Doubt I'd want to do Cadwell as well...

Would you be riding up to Oulton....or the potential to share a van, food for thought?
