Dream realised....... ...... in 1975 I toyed with the idea of buying a Morini 3 and a 1/2 or an Aermacchi 350...... never did and regretted it ever since. Today I've treated myself to a '74 Aermacchi..... I AM a happy bunny. Anybody else got any good news. |

 er........WTF are they?:D |
|
Spen, you b*stard ! Its a roadster not a racer I take it. Post a pic then and show these young whipper-snappers some old italian style. |

It's good to have a dream though.............. |

Call me Mr Blasphamous, but Morini 3 1/2's would lose all of their paint and chrome as soon as you got them out of the showroom, and Aermacchi's...while there's no questioning the way they went/go.. I always thought they looked like a big Honda 90!:lol: Always nice to have a dream realised though! Are you going to take the Hardly Movingson logos off the tank? |
|
Definitely not. Part of the bike's history....... do people remove Cagiva from their old Ducati's?? |
|
I remember them, had a Ducati Mach III at the time and always wondered whether to swap. Ended up swapping for a Bonneville 650 in the end...... |

In 1975 I got married-and I wasn't that young then either...........:o Nice bike Spen, I always wanted an Aermacchi as well-seen a couple on the CRMCC board but they are serious money. John |

I was offered one in race trim for £15,000.............:o |

I'd forgotten about them! With a nice ally tank and race fairing they look the business. I saw a Morini for sale at stafford recently - very tempted until I saw a lovely Gilersa Saturno for £1800 ( I think ) but realised that I couldn't afford either. Well done for buying it. Phil |

I bought my dream bike a few years back, a 76 kwak z900. I found that I could not live with it as an only bike and could not afford more than one machine so it had to go. |
|
That's sad. I've got 17 (useable) bikes now and would hate to have to get rid of any of them, or even the ones that don't run............ |
