69 Picked her up today from P & H so now most of my winter project is completed. After looking for 620 bit's for the last Two weeks and having no luck the 69 bike just kept looking beter value. Tomorrow we strip it down and make a list :D |
I reckon its a very decent price, a steal I'd say. Tim |

They had a road 620 in there today, 5k with some winter riding on it for £3500. The race one came with all the road kit and is mint in comparison. they said they got it out the crate ran it in and raced it last year. fingers crossed it's a good un plan to get it on a Dino and see what we need to do from there :) Suspensions all still standard so will be getting that sorted first. |

I find it's the best way to get to know a new one :D Strip her down first, have a good look at her, make sure she's ready then jump on and ride her as fast as possible. Dangerous things Bikes :D |

Like your style, Eric  But I still want to see pictures - preferably with you up to your elbows in grease ;) |

Doh :P you got me gooood :D |
Eric, don't rise to Nick's baiting. Just because his spelling is better than yours, doesn't mean he'll be faster out of the corners. In fact, it is a well known fact that spelling holds you back in life. Ask anyone. (other than teachers, and librarians, and anyone remotely academic, ... in fact, don't ask anyone, just take my word for it ;)) |

Unfortunately my secretary is not allowed to work with me at the weekend. :D I say If you can't spell pay someone who can  |

**** off and get on with your birthday  |
Very good buy Eric, I'll be interested in what changes you do and what Dyno reading you get before hand, I had the odd dice with Marcus on some circuits and on others he just cleared off. So it will be interesting to see how your lap times compare :o Hate to think of you spending money on the bike and ending up going slower  |
well at the moment it just has a open air box and a set of cans, on the standard settings so it should be what 62? Marcus said they had some clutch slipping problems during the year. and trouble getting it off the line without rattling his teeth out. :D he did say he had a good time doing it. I've only ridden four track days this year after a seven year spell of no riding at all. Snetterton the first time on a duke, Brands GP for the first time, Caddwell for the first time, and Brands Indy at the end of the year with 57 seconds on me 916, so no fireworks but plenty to come, no rush I don't like pain. To be honest it would have spoilt my year if I had wrecked the 916 tracking. I know if i get the new bike set up to stop and turn well it will help me go faster sooner. Marcus at Brands race 1 9th fastest lap 58.17 race 2 10th fastest lap 57.43 Just going to get stuck in there and see what i can do next year but I don't want to have any excuses that the bike I'm riding isn't as good as the next one. just the old git riding it hasn't got the mineralls. :D [Edited on 27-11-2005 by ericthered40] |
