DD Lap Records - Unofficial of course

Just a tad bored, so I looked through the results sheets and knocked up a quick set of lap records (620, 675 & 583).

LAP RECORDS

NBs996 29-Nov-2005 18:49

You off work again Dom?!!

Is that race records or qualifying?

domski 29-Nov-2005 18:55

Race records of course - duh!

I was gunna do Pole Position records - but I'm not that bored ;)

Tonio600 29-Nov-2005 19:19

very usefull :)
Cheers Dom, I now have some reference for my practice sessions beginning of next year

skidlids 29-Nov-2005 19:21

Apart from Snetterton and Donington I was closer to the fastest 675 than they were to the fastest 620 (Geoff) At Snetterton I was way off only upside was every lap I was doing was quicker than the previous one. So I hope we give Snet a miss next season and go to Pembrey instead.

domski 29-Nov-2005 19:22

I certainly noticed you getting closer to me - git! :P

;)

WWWOOOWWWWWWwww !!!!!!

I did it...I did it......I did SOMETHING this year !!!!!!!

Lap Record at Brands eh?....and to think that I thought that Brands had been my biggest disapointment of the season! I'm chuffed to blazes!

I did think that I had probably set the record for "leaving the track at the highest speed" at Charlies 1 @ Cadwell... but on second thoughts that accolade MUST have gone to Clint on Coram @ Snetterton (100mph????)

Thanks Dom for pointing that out!

keefer 29-Nov-2005 20:31

were Kevin and Andy the only ones on 583's ?
and who's this Geoff Spencer bloke ?

domski 29-Nov-2005 20:37

#36 (Andy) was only 583cc for Cadwell Woodlands (as far as I know)

Does anyone know if #36 (Mark) was 583 or 675 at Castle Combe?

Geoff who?

Got to agree with you there dude. I had no idea I had the 675 record for Cadwell Woodlands - that AND crash of the year in the first 9 laps of DD history

675 - running badly... :o  - also 675 at Snett, with Andy back in the seat, and later 620 for Donnington

Mark has the Castle Combe record then - amended the 'records' page.

he cant can he.? and why would he.?...race a bunch of novices when he has prooved he can cut it up front against racers like clint and geoff in the 620 class.?

that baffles me CK.?

God forbid anyone enters the 583 class who has been at the front of the 620 :)

ChrisBushell 30-Nov-2005 17:00

I dont see what you are worrying about we have an entrant who has applied for Class B next year, is still a novice and would appear to be very quick, going by his resume!

ChrisBushell 30-Nov-2005 17:12

Phil,

The whole point is that threads like this should be amusing! The mix of entrants for next year means that the 1st couple of rounds should be really interesting, whilst the riders and spectators see the natural order established!
