Adam (t5mission ) is in dire need of a RH engine cover, After doing a tremendous Job on it today he stood back to admire his work and it fell off the ramp and holed the clutch cover. EEEK So if anyone has a spare call him asap as he is crying on 07974620941. PS its for a 583 ss.

I've got a spare cover but no idea of what side it is :lol:
will have a look tonight and let you know.

ok so mine is a RH side one. I believe it comes from a 620 engine but when I compare it to the cover on my Monster(s) it looks exactly the same. Is this sure Glyn's mate won't be able to fit it on his 583?

(just to be sure, we're speaking about the one with the hole for filling the bottom of the engine with oil?? :lol: :lol: :lol: )

Glynn, need to know mate - pre 98 - or 98 on.

We might have a spare for the later 583 (which also fits a 620).
The earlier pre 98 engine will only take the early cover

Might be worth asking Grib if she has a spare, for the earlier engine that Ali blew up

So I've got a spare one like this as well, so should only fit if the SS is a 98 or 99 model...

Don't you know anyone who does alloy welding Glyn ?
I've seen some very neat jobs done on cases for very little money.

Why don't you post us a pic so we can all suck our cheeks in :D

MAte it was only the engine that fell off the ramp not the whole bike.........
Adam is a competent ally welder but have you seen the stuff they make them cases out of....paper mashy springs to mind, And it has also cracked the pressure feed that rund through the casing.
Pictures would be a bit boring im afraid, unless you want one of Adam crying as it happend.....
