Kwik poll which clutch cover Have to make a decision today for my xmas present off the other half. Do I go full carbon or open bling with coloured clutch plate etc?? Thanks |
On my 749S i have got part open carbon with Red plate, looks the dogs B's. Also open cover also helps keep clutch cool. |
Open cover with red plate for me.:D |
Open alloy cover with red plate..................and a bucci slipper, bronze plates, oversize slave, radial billet brembo master cylinder..............................doh!:D |
This is my one |
Has to be an open alloy cover. Carbon will give next to no protection if it's ever required to do so. |
Half open cover, red plate is the way forward ;) |
half alloy :eureka: |
JHP 1/2 open black cover. (very strong), with red BUCCI slipper clutch. The dogs. |

Do they do them in pink?:frog: |
Nice one andy! Gone for blue plate and black cover (which seems to be same as big red one's) Arriving from Germany this week Cant wait G |
|
Why blue :puzzled: |
Just fitted an open cover from MPL Turning parts bought off ebay. Until I can get a new pressure plate, I have painted the existing one. Not sure how long it will last but what the hell. |
Must be class then. Have you had it yet? |
Not yet. Ordered last week from Germany. Expect delay due to christmas post. Will post photo when all fitted G |
as they say, open with plate. but may as well put a slipper in there while the cover is off ! you know it makes sense. |
