Digi-cam advice please lads Ok, I'm not into these sort of things at all, but I need advice on the possible purchase of one. Firstly, what make should I go for (mainly for doing trackdays & racing) Where from? (shop please) and how much are these things? I have progressed to working the DVD player so far........... C, wanting to shop in her lunch hour tomorrow, if these damn things aint too expensive:o |
If you are thinking of ever using it for "on-bike" footage with a bullet cam, you need to make sure it has an "AV-In" facility, and not many do. Other than that, I know **** all about it, but I'm sure that someone who does will be along shortly :) |
cheers Ian, I'll remember that. Anyone else got info for me????? HELP! |
Tiff siad can it be small and light please ? ;) |
I have a Sony 340, that works really well on bike with a bullet cam, bought it a coupe of years ago now, but really impressed. |
I have a Sony dcr-hc18e you can try, got it from john lewis in kingston, very pleased with it. |

Hi Alan, This is the setup that I used at the Cadwell DSC trackday earlier this year. Bullit cam. http://www.sports-camera.com/helmet_camera.htm Camcorder. http://www.canon.co.uk/for_home/prod...730i/index.asp Camcorder was bought here. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Canon-Outle...eNameZl4QQtZkm Points to remember, your camcorder must have AV in also DV out so that you can connect to a DVD recorder that has DV in (i-link) so that you can transfer you tapes direct to DVD, any other questions just drop me a line & I will do my best to answer them.
