Digi-cam advice please lads

Ok, I'm not into these sort of things at all, but I need advice on the possible purchase of one.

Firstly, what make should I go for (mainly for doing trackdays & racing)
Where from? (shop please)
and how much are these things?
I have progressed to working the DVD player so far...........

C, wanting to shop in her lunch hour tomorrow, if these damn things aint too expensive:o

If you are thinking of ever using it for "on-bike" footage with a bullet cam, you need to make sure it has an "AV-In" facility, and not many do. Other than that, I know **** all about it, but I'm sure that someone who does will be along shortly :)

I have a Sony 340, that works really well on bike with a bullet cam, bought it a coupe of years ago now, but really impressed.

Hi Alan,
This is the setup that I used at the Cadwell DSC trackday earlier this year.

Bullit cam.

Camcorder.

Camcorder was bought here.

Points to remember, your camcorder must have AV in also DV out so that you can connect to a DVD recorder that has DV in (i-link) so that you can transfer you tapes direct to DVD, any other questions just drop me a line & I will do my best to answer them.
