NEVER TRUST THE FRENCH!

:puzzled:Would you trust a nation that sells you old stock for premium prices?:flame:

We've just had some vintage champagne and the above thought occured to me.

Whats more there wasn't even a 'best by date' so we thought it was best to get rid of it all. Now where's the number for trading standards.

Encoule salope is something you wouldn't want to shout

butch890 27-Dec-2005 21:41

Even better than that, spent some time today talking to a Porsche salesman whilst looking through the options list qoute "special colours- also available additional colours previously deleted £1500 "
So you can pay extra and have last years colour-GREAT!

I'm not sure "salope" is as used as "b1tch" may be in English, and Encoule doesn't mean anything :D

Yeah, I was wondering about the 'Encoule'....... but maybe you don't wanna shout it because it doesn't mean anything and you'd end up looking a ****!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Perhaps I have been either misled (not unheard of) or maybe not pronouncing/spelling it correctly.
It was translated to me as "up you're a*se you b1tch".

I did have a shock when I arrived back after one journey having asked the waiter for some "preservatif" to put on my toast.
What I should have been asking for was "conservatif" which is Jam. What I WAS asking for was a condom (preservatif) to put on my toast:lol:

I always find 'Pog-ma-hone' to be a handy thing to shout at folks-it's probably not spelt correctly but it means 'kiss my ar3e' in gaelic.

Nah,just say" E U farm subsidies"......

Thats always a good swearword.
