Spoke to the boss and he will definately give you a discount :bouncy: There is also a good deal on for that set that you posted a pic of but in a ltd edition black finish, looks the dogs and will go with your bike ;) Let me know what your after, if there is more interest i could see about a full discount list for DSC members Stu |
Like you I upgraded old kit not long ago. I checked-out Teng, Snap-On etc; by miles the best value was Halfords Pro. Excellent quality, a huge range and sensibly comprised sets if you dont want to buy all seperate bits. I'ved added odd sockets etc as needed for jobs since, and everything is brilliant. |
I've got stuff from these guys in the past - check out their xmas offers on tool chests ... http://www.northerntooluk.com/produc...1&subCatId=363 |
I've got a 100pc set by Crescent, lifetime guarantee excellent set think its about 30-40 squid, also got a gorilla rack chest very similar to your pic but like a grey mottled effect for about 70.. they're from Costco, last time i was in there they still had it. I use them on my ss and two cars and never had a problem. Live round the corner from one if your interested i can have a look Ant |
the ducati racing one... Get the posh one.... probably it will cost an eye... |

Hi Mucka, I will ask my lucky friend.. I think is a special edition made by USAG for Ducati corse.. was a present from his brother in law (I guess seriousily really happy that my friend married his sister!!:D:D) who works in the tools sector. Don't think is available on the market and price is not known.. I'll find out. |
What ever one you decide to go for i would suggest that you go for 12 point, rather than 6 point, sockets. Snap on are very good but if your budget is tight try Kamasa stuff. Happy New Year. |

The 20 year old socket set that I'm putting into retirement is Kamasa .... only weak point are the ratchets and an allen key adaptor that was made of plasticine. Thanks for the advice. |
Life time guarantee with snap on.............I find that the shiny chrome stuff becomes slippy when covered in a bit oil...... |
