Its also got bigger valves than the monster and ss ! They are the same size as the 750 and 620 valves. |
But such a nice bike:D they should be in. What they have in the engine department they must offset by the frame, brakes etc.:puzzled: to make them equal on the grid. |

that is one of the nicest ducatis iv ever seen. i drove a pather in 2004 all the way to WDW it was the onlt light blue bike there |
Is that yours Phil? I test rode a 650 Pantah and wanted to buy it but didn't quite have the cash to do the deal in the end. I would dearly love to ride something like that, or an F1, around a track I knew well. In fact, I really want to buy an F1! |
i dont know much about all these F1 and TT do they produce a lot more power |

What the difference is, is that they were built for racing in mind and the chassis reflects that. I'd love to have a go on one. The chassis is in a much better situation that the monsters or whatever that are being piloted currently. I'll quite happily ride a tt2 next year if Grahame wants to hook me up. Oh I forgot to add. The F1 is a 750 and the tt2 was a 600. So intrinsically that's the difference - unless someone can't point us in the right direction. I'm hardly an authority on this subject but I'd love to know more. :D |
Most of the 750 F1's are road bikes weighing about 180kg, with a number of the special editions having alloy tanks (170kg ish) and higher-tune engines which go a bit better but are collectors items. The TT2-replicas are based on race chassis from verlicchi and harris and weigh 140kg (ish) and there really arnt many around at all. Mine is currrently not on the road as it wont run properly above 5000 :devil: and all my time is taken up sorting the proper race bikes :sniff: |
