Have the Italians got it right... Italy approves self-defence law The Italian parliament has passed legislation allowing people to shoot robbers in self-defence. The law permits the use of guns and knives by people in homes or workplaces to protect lives or belongings. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4645228.stm |

Shoot the thieving scum, I say!! You come in my house, I shoot you. If everyone knows the rules, then anyone stupid enough to break in to your house, deserves to get shot. |
Bang on! |

..finally... |
Better than the law over here. Scrote breaks into your house, robs you, trips on loose stair carpet on the way out and falls down the stairs and gets hurt. He sues you for his injuries and will WIN FFS! Mind you if it happened in my house I think you would find he unfortunately broke his neck in the fall-dead men tell no tales. John |

I believe that if you batter a thief, or he hurts himself downstairs he can attempt legal action, however if he is upstairs you can claim he was a threat to your wife/kids/dog/budgie and use reasonable force to defend the family. Therefore once you battered him/them downstairs, just drag them upstairs to leave a bit of blood and then throw them back downstairs. I'm sure i'll be corrected by a lawyer or policeman. I accept no responsiblity for this advice. |
if a burglar trips on your staircarpet you will not end up getting sued successfully:lol: |
Shaun, i think I luvs you .. thats sooooooo funny ..... |
Not a good idea. How many people will end up getting shot/stabbed with their own guns/knives? This is what happens in the States a lot. |
