Bike in a sooty van

Has anyone got a 748/9** into a sooty van before, wondered whats the smallest van you can get one into without taking half the bike off before it goes in.

It's a Bedford Rascal van

I was wondering if a 749 would go in a long wheel base Transit connect???

Any ideas without getting a tape measure out??

I used to get my Fireblade into a Renault Extra, the passenger seat folds forward but used to have to put a wooden box for the rear wheel to sit on.

I have a funny feeling they are long enough and wide enough but not tall enough the only reason I say this is because you can get a bike into the one side of a horse but theres a lot more height to them. Still cant belive they used to make 6 seater versions!!!

Me and Weeksy had a Nissan Vanette, just like the Rascal and you'd get one bike in easy. I have a feeling he got 2 bikes in it before I bought it from him.

I've also had someone turn up in one of these...

...and take away a CBR600. It went in no problem.

I was amazed.

I doubt it. The floor is pretty high in the Rascals. My dad had one a while ago and whilst my pantah 500 would just fit in, with no fairings, the 750 Sport was no where near.

I couldn't face riding my CB 125 300 miles to London so i can confirm if you take the front wheel and forks off, it will fit on the back seat of an old Granada.

Just make sure you leave enough room for Sue and Sweep :D
