I fell off
 

Well there was this dog and it ran out in front of me and because of the diesel and negative camber and i recon it was snowing a bit and raining and really windy and the sun was in my eyes the front end hit a heghog hence ripping my wheel apart with its sharp spines. Then I got up and gave the hedgehog the kiss of life and saved it.

So anyways the point of this post is, has anyone got any cheep (or stolen) bits for putting a 748 back together? Pretty much need all plastics, a tank, new front wheel and discs and calipers. So i can get it back on the road for some more heroic lifesaving action....

I suppose if it was red i probably wouldnt have come off, it wouldnt have been going as fast so would have stayed on. Everyone knows yellow bikes are faster:P

Managed to get 2 police vans, a police car and an ambulance to attend! Not bad for a grazed elbow and slightly sorry for itself arai.

I did exactly the same many years ago on my brand new Jap hairdryer, 'Dying to get out over Xmas and a kid ran out from behind a stationary bus and I had two choices, hit kid or hit deck' Hit the kid would have been the cheaper option, but hey what the hell, got rid of it and bought the 'very-loud' Duke shortly afterwards.

Chin-up mate, look at all those crashes the GP guys do on track, cartwheeling theirs bikes, makes you feel better.

a mate of mne (nobby) was doing his everyday trip to work on his honda 125 thing when some chap pulls out a brick! throws it at nobby which causes nobby to fall. the chap runs off:lol:. as the story goes,nobby went to the police to find a local "nut" had escaped from one of the local nut homes.:lol: at the time it wasnt so funny but now over 10 years ago:lol:

what bits do you desperatly need then :) CMW 01243 782544 might have them as they got loads of cheap bits in at the moment,

and also have you tried NATTY BOY he has loads of ducati bits in his garage! Good luck

Im desperately after a front wheel (and probably discs) to get it rolling again so I can atleast bring it back to my garrage. Ill go assess the damage this morning and post up a full list in the wanted area later.
