after all the votes have been counted and verified we should know the date of the first race tomorrow i suppose.

i wont be. im just being selfish really. were it brands i'd go but 6+ hours driving and an overnight stay just cant be justified for 20 mins of track time.

I'm looking forward to watching you folks getting it on for the season, as I'm not on hoilday abroad this season I'm looking to get to as many tracks as possible;)

All entrants should have received an email regarding this. If not then please email desmodue@ducatisportingclub.com using the email account you wish all future DD emails to go to. That way we can be sure we have your correct addrress on file.

The result was:

For Cadwell to be points scoring - 15
Against Cadwell being points scoring - 17

So Cadwell IS to be points scoring?

Maths is obviously not the strong point of the DD committee :(

we can argue all we like, and i'd love to! but there were 3 options, it was a first past the post vote and thats the end of it. its not uncommon in any vote that the winning option is actually not wanted by more of the people.

Divide and rule Lizzie... Now I understand why we were proposed 3 vote options with 2 options having exactly the same consequences for the riders...

Anyway that's done, what can we do?

So, are this season's race dates going to be published sometime before the season starts? It'd be great to have all this information on the Desmodue website. Unfortunately, I've never received any emails with such information, nor seen it published elsewhere.

still not confirmed by new era. nothing is set in stone until they confirm the meetings. should be any day now i guess.

u can see the dates on the NE website......but as dickie has said they are subject to change ..the final calender is due anytime soon....

Phil, the provisional dates given are:

March 25/26th: Cadwell Park

April 23rd: Brands Hatch

May 6th & 7th: Assen (definate)

June 10/11th: Castle Coombe

July 8th Oulton Park

Aug 13th Donnington

Sept: 2/3rd: Snetterton - 1 long race only (day to be confirmed)

Oct 7/8th Cadwell

The vote was as much about Cadwell in March as Snetterton in September.

I'm happy with both!

Well .. it seems that a lot of people didn't choose where we are. The current Australian Prime Minister was voted in with much less than 50% of the gross vote and so it has with Cadwell. The only thing that annoys me is that more people didn't exercise their democratic right ...

But, as they say in those meetings that annoy me so much .. "We are where we are" so we're racing for points at Cadwell - I'll be there with my warm gear!

Might even do SoT :D

...and no one like's John Howard either..they still live in Aus though..
