The real season with points starts at Cadwell.

multi600 31-Jan-2006 21:11

Oh F**K:o I only got my bike on Friday Have not done anything on it yet.

Mike

Tonio600 31-Jan-2006 21:11

Even if more people didn't want a Cadwell points scoring round...
Divide and rule :(

*orders thermals*
Wheres my brolly dolly ?
Memo to Clockwork Orange - make sure you bring the indoor barbie please - we gotta keep warm inside the awning somehow :o ;)

NBs996 31-Jan-2006 21:19

I think regardless of the vote, however you look at that, we HAVE to start at Cadders to qualify to ride at Assen.

Thermal sleeping bag at the ready...!

Scooter916 31-Jan-2006 21:20

:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:
well im happy if no one else is :frog:

phoenix n max 31-Jan-2006 21:21

Tonio600 31-Jan-2006 21:23

I'm half happy half pi55ed off

Me too - really - no - honest - I am :D

boggy 8 31-Jan-2006 21:38

So if it snows at cadwell you cant race at assen.

phoenix n max 31-Jan-2006 21:45

Hmm the other issue with that rule is I have 2 riders on 1 bike- This could get difficult.

dickieducati 31-Jan-2006 21:48

im p***** off by the decision but there was a vote and thats what came out. have to go along with it. im obviously in the minority but nothing new there.

with any luck it'll be great weather, but if it isnt i'm happy to start the lynch mob off.

at least we know the score now i guess.

far from chuffing happy though, bloody riders!

well one rider will have to do both cadwell and brands i guess and assen. half a season each?

phoenix n max 31-Jan-2006 21:51

Hmm, Graeme was doing Cadwell but doesn't look like he can now as it's Doug that wants to go to Assen.
Oh dear.

TP 31-Jan-2006 21:52

Well I voted to start the season at Brands - but I guess if we need to race at Cadwell to get the new people to the series to Assen then thats what we do.

We'll see how we go I suppose ...

Tonio600 31-Jan-2006 21:52

Dickie you're still part of the majority which wanted to start the season at Brands... Nevermind, I'm sure it will be fun. I've never ridden on the snow :)

dickieducati 31-Jan-2006 21:55

yeah antoine you're right. still thats how it is. wanna make a snowman with me?

phoenix n max 31-Jan-2006 21:55

I originally voted to start at Brands too, I think - we've had many votes since then though - Oh I don't know i so confused:puzzled:

paynep 31-Jan-2006 21:56

Look on the bright side, now if we blow an engine/crash/f8ck up at Snet we only miss one race not 3........

PS It's not snow you have to worry about, it's fog!

AK 31-Jan-2006 21:58

Our 2 lads also voted for Brands - but never mind, the bikes are ready to rumble.
Lin, might be worth checking - as it is 2 rounds - could they do one race each at each meeting? - and remember, Doug HAS done 2 meetings - and therefore more than 4 races last season.

Mind you, reading this new ruling again, it looks like it means EVERYONE has to go to Cadwell & also Brands, with no missing out, if they want to do Assen, regardless of their licence level.....

Sorry mate, couldn't help much. We only do snow-snails in France.

boggy 8 31-Jan-2006 22:00

Only 32 votes out of 2 full grids ? not a very good turn out.

Yeah, that's right - the same round was reduced to the woodlands circuit last year due to fog.

It will be like Donny only a shedload colder :)

TP 31-Jan-2006 22:03

Oh and we won't be able to see where we're going!

I vote we connect tail lights for that round!

its 4 more votes than they had last time the riders voted on the same thing Geoff:lol::lol: (and there were less then!!)

boggy 8 31-Jan-2006 22:11

The cold weather must have put them off.

fil2 31-Jan-2006 22:15

well im pleased by the result.......cant wait to start racing..come rain or er rain.....

Crap outcome for some....great for others....

Lets hope this is the end of it.. we now all know when we start and we can concentrate on getting bikes ready........

I wish concentration would build and prepare my bike

skidlids 31-Jan-2006 22:25

I'm happy enough with that, I find Cadwell a far more enjoyable circuit to ride than Snetterton and as I hope to be at Pembrey in 3 1/2 weeks time and then return there a week before the Cadwell round I should be use to the cold and snow by the time I get to Cadwell

NBs996 31-Jan-2006 22:30

Even though the same round last year was fogged out, His Lordship and I were at a No Limits day the day before... and it was a nice warm sunny spring day!

We'll obviously have rain for DD tho.

[Edited on 31-1-2006 by NBs996]

dickieducati 31-Jan-2006 22:46

fcuk me! i might as well buy a place up there be cheaper than all the petrol!

trackdays for practice
2 x DD meetings
2x TA trackdays

are all the other circuits closing down this year or something:puzzled:

can one of the riders reps u2u me please i have a few points for discussion. oh hang on we havent got them yet. ;)

I doubt that would work, Which one would get the timed practice/??
:(

ali 01-Feb-2006 00:17

No cadwell, so no assen, which means I'll be riding out of my skin at every other round. Good start to the season, 4DNFs.

weeksy2 01-Feb-2006 00:25

Oi Tonio, if you need any help mate, i've got most weekends free until then, would be more than happy to come up adn give a hand with some spanners.
