MotoGP

I noticed from the MotoGP website today that Ducati were first and second again as they were in Sepang with Gibernau taking first place.

I wonder if this will be his and Ducati's year... I hope so although would prefer to see little Loris do it. There again there is that little matter of the Doctor to contend with! :smug:

Yep .. big news in MCN as well.

As was the fact that Rossi wasn't fastest last year in testing... nor the year before....

why then was he so quick in race ?

Because according to his book, he wasn't trying, keeping the old cards close to his chest.

Rossi will beat them all .... it's not even a discussion

Is that what the best racers do then? Keep their cards close to themselves?

andys 900ss 02-Feb-2006 16:07

Unfortunately so,

My mate is one of the quickest swimmers in the midlands. He swims how and as fast as he wants, he only wins by a small margin and croozes when 'cant be bothered'..... I wish I was as fast as him!!!

Big fat cheques, the women, the parties, racing those awesome machines. I'd be more than happy to be the 30th or so best rider in the world :)

Ahh, the dreams!

i assume it's for the 1 race glory... or the possibility he'll hurt himself....

i seriously doubt there's a single rider in MotoGP(apart from Vale) who sits there and thinks

"right, i'm going to win the title this year"

Indeed, thinking about it I remember MCN running an article about Shakey and his lifestyle was very salubrious even if his career in GP wasnt, I seem to recall Jodie Marsh and a Lamborghini were in the fray! Maybe I can see why afterall...

Yeah reckon the Ducati will be right on the pace from the start this year, just hope Loris is doing all the pushing, can't be doing with Gimpaneau (and wots with the stupid mullet??)
Still reckon the Doc will pull out all the stops. Hears watching Ellison and hopeing he'll push the front runners..
