extra races

It might be possible to get extra non point scoring races on the saturday of each race weekend. This must be better than going in SOT for extra practice. We would have to fill at least 1 grid.
Put your names up if you are interested .

would have to pay another £100 to race if so im not interested but if its free ill be there (yorkshire man coming out of me again)

NBs996 02-Feb-2006 21:06

Nice one champ, but don't think I could fund an extra entry fee.

dickieducati 02-Feb-2006 21:07

in all honesty probably not. although i need the practice, turning it into a 2 day meeting for me with all the associated costs is no very appealing. at 'local' ones say brands and snet i may consider it.

AK 02-Feb-2006 21:09

Geoff - hadnt thought of that extra cost - usually £25ish if another class on the same day, but will be full entry if on a seperate day wont it?

C:)

butch890 02-Feb-2006 21:11

Should we put it to a vote!:lol:

If I have the funds I would consider it at some venues, was already thinking of entering the 996 at Castle Combe in the SoT on the day that we are not doing DD

Dominic Clegg 02-Feb-2006 21:30

if we could get new era to do it cheep im all for it

NBs996 02-Feb-2006 21:59

Just to clarify... I'm not out the picture on this one geoff, it'll come down to cost and funds available when I fill in the form.

Ditto :biaggi:

ali 02-Feb-2006 23:16

Same as t'others, up for it for certain rounds especially if it's a good deal cheaper than £95.

Cheers,

Ali

Tonio600 02-Feb-2006 23:39

same here. If not too expensive, I'd be happy with extra race time with the DSC mates...

fil2 03-Feb-2006 00:58

Im happy to go with Sot for the extra 25 quid a race...suites me fine..:)

phoenix n max 03-Feb-2006 05:25

Add me to list - i'm usually there day before anyway.

Ck - if u need to vote for me in anything or order a bun to throw, please assume for me ;) Ta - P phew it's flippin hot here :)

couchcommando 03-Feb-2006 11:18

Yeh I reckon so, we were gonna do a trackday at most circuits but this instead will be cheaper and only one lot of travelling :)

dickieducati 03-Feb-2006 11:20

only 10/15 mins on track though as opposed to 2 hours on a trackday.

fil2 03-Feb-2006 11:33

Some of our races are on the Saturday...Oulton and Castle Coombe....

Anyone noticed that 5 of the Rounds are superclub rounds..last year we got no free practise and failed to get into SOT cos of priority given to sot riders ( which i agree with ).....

is it the same deal this year...ie no free practise or is it based on the number of total entrants dictacting time frames.?

This might change your pre-race warm up plans..if no SOT or free practise....

Phil

they said in the newsletter pre christmas that they were hoping to do more 'proper meetings' with full practice etc so i assume thats what they will try to do.

Tonio600 03-Feb-2006 11:54

If they don't I'll burn their cars.
