My Favourite Car of all Time - InTegrale - Video LANCIA DELTA INTEGRALE EVO What a Video !! http://www.duc.nu/movies/files.php?&...kip=0&show=500 /ian |
Great cars, I remember standing in a wet cold forrest watching the likes of Didier Auriol and Juha Kankanen flying by in those things.. Saw an Evo 3 I think last week in red with tan leather interior it was mint, there's one near Lily's all in Martini colours like the video looks stunning |
Superb! Theres a Integrale specialist near me (Prestocar) and whenever I go past I can never resist a quick peep. Also I quite often see a pretty old bloke hammering an early 8v one up around Settle/Hawes. Always looks to be enjoying himself and the car looks well used to say the least. Special car them and the Fulvias. |
Great, this is great - I had one and loved it - 1984 it was. Got done doing 129 MPH on the M50 spur near Ross-On-Wye and the old bill loved it too !! Trouble was it was LHD - even remember it's number plate - BBC 541Y Ah happy days:D |

Lucky man! My dream car Used to have a 16v golf and tried to race an integrale in wales.I ended up sliding at 60mph plus on the corners but no way could I keep up. Went on holiday the year after and a guy in the hotel we stayed at gave me a go in his. It was everything that I had expected. I have also driven an escort cosworth and that felt soul less in comparison. Shame they never made a 2 door. |
I had a test drive in a new one with the Martini stripes. I could't afford to buy it at the time:lol: but hey I had to have a go. A great car and one of the few I ever even thought about buying. :o |
There's a guy in one of the factories near me got one........and it's YELLOW :) Looks, sounds and goes amazing!! |
awesome, a family member used to import them into the UK, have driven virtually every variant. thanks Ian .. I enjoyed that ... |
Yeah someone on my paper round used to have one.:lol: |
Great stuff..and cool soundtrack  Theres just something about these cars..especially those fly yellow ones !!! Everton - 1983 - wouldnt that have been a namby pamby HF Turbo mate ??!;) Not sure if you saw a recent thread of mine about dream garages, but what about this bad boy !!! http://www.carclassic.com/stock.asp?StockID=102677 Finally - had a quick look in Autocar today...Apparently Fiat are launching a 230hp Grand Punto which will be biilled as the new integrale - looked cool - flared arches the lot !! At the moment my bro's got a Nissan Pulsar GtiR running about 300 BHP at the wheels, but the Delta used to always beat it in the Rally's - Stig Blomquist mmm What a driver. 1 day it will be mine !!!!! /ian [Edited on 8-2-2006 by weeian] |
Wow, does that take me back. It was my dream car too, I lined up a Delta Sport but ended up with an XR3 instead. Thanks for the great memories Ian Andy |
Remember when the (roadgoing) Evo3 was launched, it was voted by Autocar as the fastest point to point car in the world ! They tested it against Fezzers and everything !! Nat |

That is stunning Natty !! /ian |
Love the Integrale, never driven one or even ridden in one. When I lived in Cornwall back in 1975 a mate of mine had a Lancia Stratos-evil beastie, came with a 2.4-6 cylinder Ferrari Dino engine. Rear engine, rear wheel drive, 190BHP and the dam thing only weighed 950kg-bloody good fun though.................. John |
