What\'s the MT going to do about it??? I woke up this morning... and it was RAINING!!! :mad: Now I don't know about you lot but I didn't part with my hard earned cash to be a DSC member for it to rain when I want to ride my bike. Riding my bike is a window for the world into Ducati ownership. What will everyone think if they see a Ducati being ridden in the rain? Hardly good publicity for the club. The amount of sun-outage is totally unacceptable. We should stop subsidising trackdays, as every single one loses money, until the rain problem is fixed. Oh, it's all too easy to blame these things on 'Bad Weather' or 'God' but it's clearly yet another example of the distorted priorities of the MT. Heads should roll! :flame: |
:lol::lol::lol: |
I, for one, am completely sick of the whole weather thing. The MT have controlled the weather in this country for long enough, with minimal sun-outage over the last few years. The choice of weather providers is very limited, and any choice to move away from SUN will need to be passed at the agm. People that own Ducatis need to be prepared for some rain-time, there's a limit as to how mnay umbrellas the MT can hold up, and how quick their little legs will carry them. I hope we all come together as a club and work through this until we have sunshine 24x7...... :flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame:: flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::f lame::flame::flame: ali |
What do you expect for 38 and a half pence a week... SUN !!! I know I do, so I'm going to stop paying my subs and use the money on bus fares to get me further south where everything is sunny instead. By this time next year I'll probably be in Staines....I hope it's stopped raining by then! |

I think you're being far too understanding, Ali. Afterall, what else are they paid to do?? |

But I thought The Sun is 35p per day? |

Brilliant! Nice one Rally. |
Ooops, I,ve wandered into the psychiactric wing by mistake.:burn: |
Sorry to upset tha apple cart guys, but in a blatant case of what can I do for the club I pointed both partical accelerators skywards earlier and cleared the sky above where I work so that I had brilliant sunshine all day which gave rise to the roads on site being very dry and grippy. All that was needed to enjoy this lovely bit of sunshine was a special entry ticket, so as far as I know I was the only DSC member to enjoy the summer conditions, the only draw back was that the sunshine poured through my office window meaning I couldn't see a thing on my computer screen so I hope I didn't miss anything :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P PS Sorry about the Ozone layer and I hear the excess Gamma rays produced make have caused a bit of fall out effecting some electronic based systems :frog: |
Ive got sun burn on my face today it was that hot!:o |

The rain is just the tip of the iceberg............hope they aren't gonna sit on their laurels when the weather is sorted. Theres world poverty, conflict and starvation to sort out as well. MT sort it now, or better still, yesterday! NURSE.................. Ray. |

...but the weather is definately more important! |
That and the price of fuel, if the MT could get fuel tax abolished especially on unleaded and super unleaded, then all club members would benifit and they would be able to take part in longer rideouts. |
This MT have a lot to answer for. If it's raining on Saturday blood will be spilt :D |

That wasn't the sun that was Skid's partical accelerators. If I were you I'd check all my extremities tomorrow to make sure they're still there - radiation can be very unpleasant :cool: |
:lol: You've all gone mad :lol::lol: Rally, you started this! I'll U2U my address. Please post me a sample of the drugs you are taking ;);) Skids, if you weren't dangerous you'd be funny XXXXX |

As Everton has pointed out, its the radiation and I've spent over half my life working on a Nuclear Licenced site. And people worry about what mobile phones might do to their brain. Certainly beats the drugs as they pay me for it :D |
What\'s wrong with riding in the rain? Airy fairy, hoity toity, namby pamby, achy flakey........you should think yourself lucky you've got modern roads to ride on why I remember back in the seventies when we had to push our bikes through six feet of snow to get to the main roads and then pee on the carburretors to de-ice them before we could even START them up and even then we had to wait for a passing steam engine to throw some ashes on the ice so we could get some grip from our rivetted wooden tyres even though we'd spent all summer with a hacksaw cutting some decent tread in them so we'd have a chance of not getting stuck in the tram rails on Southen seafront with all the girls from school watching! You lot today just don't know you're born! :smug: |

You forgot to scan and post that telegram you got from the queen when we last celebrated your birthday :devil::lol: |
