Can you have a look at this please? NOW LIVE

Can I have your opinion on my latest website creation...

PERFORMANCE FRICTION BRAKE PAD WEBSITE

It's not properly live yet, although everything should work ok. I'm just a bit dizzy having spent countless hours going around in circles.

Any thoughts/critique appreciated (especially bad).

Thanks

domski 19-Feb-2006 14:30

Send me your passport photo then :P

Rattler 19-Feb-2006 14:56

Looks good, there seems to be some repetition of Ducati models under the PF brake pads - although they do point to different products.

Yeah, it's coz Performance Friction insist that the pads are for 'race use only' but the pad range happens to fit 350+ bikes which aren't 'race' bikes.

That's why there is a RACE section and a TRACKDAY section - like the race exhaust or black visor issue.

Then you have 2 different compounds, so you may have 4 links for one bike, but they only link to 2 products - an 03 pad or a 95 pad.

Clear as mud eh?!

Just remember that PF is an American company, and it all becomes clear

Rattler 19-Feb-2006 18:53

But it doesnt say that in the index, just identical bike listings.:puzzled::puzzled: perhaps you coudl put "race" or "road" after the indexes?//

Tim

Rattler 19-Feb-2006 18:55

For example, on this page;
http://www.fastbikesismy.biz/newsite/pads_ducati2.htm

There are two references to 998S - but it doesn't say what the difference is!! The just link to different products.

Only trying to help !!!

I think I'm already off it, never got mine last year :sniff:

Tonio600 19-Feb-2006 23:58

Looks good mate. The only thing I really don't like is the font used for their logo, you could have applied the anti-aliasing to it ;)

That was something out of my hands.

The 'client' sent me the 'logo' - think he's landed on his head too many times (he races an R1)

Thanks for the positive comments though dude.

Shame you're French, coz I think I may be able to tolerate you otherwise.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:;)

domski 21-Feb-2006 14:08

This site is now working fully and you can buy your pads from there :)

Iconic944ss 21-Feb-2006 14:14

Yep....quick mootch and it looks good.

Good contact to have, esp since I have those 4 pad devils and Calipers from Jasper to fit at some point.

Some claim though...'Lowest lap times' ??? Just by fitting those pads!
If only I'd known before - LOL.

Cheers - Frank

No probs with carbon friction pads they are supposed to be about the best money can buy, anyone compared their prices are they competitive? Are we getting a discount for fine tuning his website.

Hello Domski,

Looking at the KRAZYDIAMOND logo, it looks bitmapped.

I could not match the fonts as I don't know what you have used. But maybe this is a little clearer.

Thanks TopiToo, that old logo is a bit dodgy isn't it - I just do what I'm told.

I keep getting in trouble for thinking too much or being 'creative'

;)

TopiToo 25-Feb-2006 00:24

Hello Domski,

no worries mate maybe just me:lol:

I see these things sad but true.
