Front brake options.
 

What recommendations do we have for 888 front brakes.
4 Pad calipers on adaptors?
Radial m/c
Read about using later model m/c ST4?,which are the models to use.
Brembo racing calipers,which ones?
What about 748/9-- forks with a Cyclecat top yoke,4 pad calipers.
Any other offers?

My personal choice would be to keep it as close to original as possible.
the Brembo race calipers use a 40mm mount, so i'd use these. I don't like the adaptor brackets...............
I'd go for a radial master cylinder though. Doesn't look out of place. I'd use a small race reservoir mounted on the yoke for that "different" look just make it look like "somethings" been done ;)

Brembo Road disks : DI.150.IX
Racing calipers
Pads : Brembo F.40

Perfect quality and cheaper than Brembo ???

For my 888 I will be using a matching pair of brake and clutch master cylinders from an ST4S that look near identical to the originals on my Strada but are just bigger bore, so pump more fluid.

I thought about going down the radial route but I've got the same sort of ST masters on my ST2 and they easily pump enough fluid for the 4 pot, pad-per-piston P34 callipers that I've got on that bike. The brakes on my ST are awesome, easily enough to outbrake other folks on trackdays so I'm expecting the same type of master cylinder to work just as well on my 888. They've also got the advantage of being cheaper and not fouling the clocks.

Just as well they're cheaper 'cos I've just bought a set of brand new 40mm fitment billet Brembos, so the ST masters will be squeezing a set of Mr Brembos finest.

Who,s best for the Brembo billet GP calipers,in terms of price/availability?

I remember Nissin doing some lovely 6-pot 40mm mount calipers as well for something different.

Radial M/C everytime! I don't think you need anything else for the road. The rest is just bling. But what the hell it looks great!!

Oooooh, love those Maguras, in fact I prefer them to the Brembo M/C's...

As I've already said, I think that functionally speaking the ST4S M/C's I intend to use will be more than up to the job and will perform well, but if I ever feel the need to replace them with pure porn just for the looks alone it'll be the Maguras
