Different - staff bike at factory..rev counter could be a little bigger though.. :o |
This would be nice without the screen..taken at monza WSB |
Very nice Nat mate, but I`m looking for pictures of something more radical, probably not even recognisable as a monster.............. |
Let me guide you Nat ![]() |
Give me a chance then tosspot... I really fecked up the picture but you get the idea.. This was taken at WDW..awesome..gutted 999 with the lights where the exhaust apertures were, twin akra's pointing opposite ways to each other, 999 tank...a work of art.. Nat |

red chain for starters, nasty looking zaust - IMHO, thats all. Why do you want pics mate? Alan |
A couple of my faves from the UKOMC gallery.. http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/html/gallery.php?start=11#99 http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/html/gallery.php?start=11#96 The best one was a yellow jobber a guy in japan owns but I cant find the pic.. Nat |
Well I know that one of PD`s,he also uses Carl Harrison MC`s,Kylie I think he calls it,takes all sorts I suppose......... But they still look like monsters.................... Alan, you are looking at it like it must conform to a set of rules which Ducatis must follow,I have looked at Dukes with that conception myself for many years now,now I look for individuality, not just a collection of parts from the Ducati performance catalog,I didn`t even notice the red chain, even when I saw it in the flesh..........maybe I need more drugs  |
Have a look at this thread,it might explain where I`m coming from http://217.199.188.40/xmb/viewthread.php?tid=30113 |
Sparkin - I'm not into conventionality either.... my road bike pic attached - and yes I use it as commuterbike not just a show bike. |
Do you have a picture from the other side Alan? Graham |
RH side for you mate, sorry about the burd in the way - she kept leaning on the bike, I couldnt get rid of her! |
|
Monsters don`t have a rear subframe as such do they........is it possible to cut it off,if so what would be the consequences????????? |
you can chop anything off behind the suspension pivot point as it doesnt really do anything except support the passenger seat area, and hold the rear light on. I cut most of the rear of mine off to get the zaust in there, just leaving enough to put a seat on it and some hanging brackets to support things. You going to start a project bike then? |
Cheers Bubbs...... |
Do you have any pictures off your bare frame build,I don`t really care about the suspension point, don`t need it anyway  At the moment I can`t do anything till I sell the T8,and even then my funds are short......... |
Another one here... My monster is nearly finished. The new radiator turned up last week so should be ready for the summer: my monster here Just got to find the log book now to get some road tax ...... simon |
If ya look close you can see the Monster in the pic. :bouncy: [Edited on 2-27-2006 by Ducman851] |

Oooh, what are you doing with that? Racing it? What size is it? It looks like some DD racers did here. |
Blimey, i even found my monster on that site, before i started to really customise it! http://www.zebsite.net/galerie/displ...lbum=6&pos=392 Amazing what you find! Yorkie. |

Yep its a racer/track*****. It was built on 2002 as our local club changed the class structure and allowed the 620 to compete with Gs 500s, EX500s, and the singles. It started life as a 620, but now it sports an 800 engine(with a set of MBP heads on the way), FIM ECU, Cyclecat goodies sprinkled about, Marvic Mags soon to be installed as well. |
not my cup of tea but the one on this thread looks about the most "extreme" I've ever seen a monster taken. http://217.199.188.40/xmb/viewthread.php?tid=30165 [Edited on 27-2-2006 by chicken] |

sparkin your better off looking at pics of c90's now mate |
Mine, not washed nor polished. Looks better in real. Ok I know blue is not a color for an Italian bike, but I bought it like this and I always said I would have it resprayed but then I think I won't. I'm used to it now :) http://tonio82.co.uk/desmodue/loadPi...e/p1020472.jpg When I've got more money, I'll buy her a pair of Conti like exhaust, and it will be it. |
