Can anyone help with a part number?

Hi guys. Hoping one of you may be able to help me out with a part number that's seemingly impossible to find. Even my local dealer has drawn a blank on this one.
1995 916 racing. In place of the normal horseshoe shaped clip to secure the rear wheel nut the racer had a large R pin that goes through the axle.

If anyone can provide a part number for that pin I would owe you a beer or two. Alternatively even if someone could provide dimensions of an original so I can source one from somewhere else.

Cheers and happy Christmas to all.
Adam.

I have a friend who still has tonnes of old micro fiche parts lists. It may be a non starter but I will be seeing him in the new year if that helps. :)

Spoke to my friend today. The part number on the fiche is

0759-10131A

He said it is probably not active any more but at least it's a start.

Thanks for all the efforts lads. Unfortunately the part number for that clip, although right for some rear axles is not the one im looking for.

Skidlids has it right with the pic he posted earlier but tracking down this pin on its own is proving to be a challenge.

please see the attached pic of another chaps 955 corsa to see the pin im looking for.

DOH. I will have another word with my friend soon and see if there are any alternatives. Other than that it maybe down to fabricating one.

The part number Frank listed, 75910131A, runs all the way thru 916, 996 and 998 RS catalogues. It's now obsolete.
Can't get a part number on the pin in the Ducati Performance kit anymore as the kit is off the catalogue so can't do a breakdown.
As far as I can tell you, it's going to have to come from elsewhere other than Ducati I'm afraid.

Rich at Louigi Moto is building a new racer and I noticed this in one of the pictures. Maybe he can help?

Do you have a reasonable idea of the dimensions.

The clips have various names R clip, clevis pin clip,

If Ducati related sources draw a blank it might be worth a trip to your local farm machinery suppliers, they use pretty large clevis pin clips on..........er tractors and farm machinery.

Some motorsport suppliers have them in stock as well as similar clips are used as wheel nut retainers etc.

It's a reasonably generic part unless of course Ducati had some made to a particular spec/dimension.

Good luck in the search.
