It was on Eurosport 2 last weekend.

Rgds, Rob

This weekend on Eurosport you've got the WSB from Philip Island and also the MotoGP IRTA testing live - for the first time in the UK (I think).

A good weekend for bikes. Don't you get Eursport on the least expensive SKY Package???

Still a bummer I suppose. I went without sky for donkey's years. Only had it about 2 years now, I only really have it for bike racing - the other 10 million channels are crap.

Oh, and of course I'm busy building websites and training down the gym *cough*

Gaz 748 02-Mar-2006 21:03

Its on Motors TV tonight at 9:00

Ozz 02-Mar-2006 21:03

Matt if you go for top up tv watch out cos you only get eurosport from 12pm to 11pm so if the racing is in the morning you won't see it!

matt748 02-Mar-2006 23:13

Eurosport can be had for £15 a month, and it's £7.50 only for the first 3 months. Well worth it.

955matt 02-Mar-2006 23:18

Thanks guys think i may have to invest, just not sure which way to go, top up, cable or sky:puzzled:

Matt:burn:

If you don't mind watching repeats, then top-up may be the way to go?

Although they don't always show the 125's and 250's on the GP repeats. You'll get all the WSB and WSS repeats though.

955matt 02-Mar-2006 23:52

Thanks domski just going done the top up route now:bouncy:

I found it live online last weekend. The quality isn't great, but it is watchable. Not sure if it will work again for Philip Island, but I am hoping so -

Bugger - I was going to go for that option..didnt know that..?

Mark 03-Mar-2006 09:06

Get sky, then add a + to it, and sorted!

IRTA Dom was on last year, hence me asking in another thread if it was on TV d00d.

Ozz 03-Mar-2006 10:33

Nat, yeah I found it out after I had bought the box! Same applies for all channels you only get them at certain times...

Eurosport is still available on the old analog dish setups FOC. other than you have to buy the equipment. BUT its a European version of Eurosport and they don't always show WSB as on the whole the Euro version is akin to Eurosport 1.

Terrestial freeview only shows Eurosport 1 as far as I know.

The first WSB round was shown on Eurosport 2, that is only available via sky or cable.

If you want to be sure of getting Full WSB coverage I would say you need Eurosport 1 & 2.

Did a lot of looking into this when I moved house recently. Used to have the free analog satellite setup but could see not alternative to paying up for the minimum sky deal.:( if I wanted to get full WSB coverage.

If you can get cable a visit to yer local dodgy pub might save you some cash!!

If you end up with Eurosport you have the added bonus of their MotoGP coverage and you can avoid having to listen to Charlie Cox, a major bonus IMHO!

Motors TV is own by ITV so there is maybe a chance of WSB appearing on ITV a few weeks after the event and some uneartly hour, wouldn't could on it though.

Hope this helps,

Ray

PS I would go for cable if I had the option, but no cable in "feudaltowncaster"
