Assen - Why no DueValvole race??? I understood that those of us who hold National ACU licences would be allowed to enter the Duevalvole race. £130 (which I've been charged) would only cover the DD entry and the practice session?? I had ticked all the correct boxes and filled out the form to enter the DueValvole race and hold a National race licence. So can the RC explain why I've not been entered for it? I'm a bit peeved. (Emailed dd@dsc yesterday) |
Dom, where did you find this out mate? Andy hasnt had any confirmation as to whether he is doing that race or not - yet! I have also sent an email to DD about the shambles at Cadwell, but no doubt this will be replied to in the next few days. |
I emailed dd@dsc to find out how much I had been charged for entries (expecting it to be £200) and the reply I got was £130. This would be for the DD entry and the practice afternoon??? So therefore I'm assuming that I've not been entered for DueValvole??? I did email dd@dsc yesterday, but no reply as yet. |
You need an International licence apparantly. Thanks to CB for the email. |
Dom, I think Monty is on holiday till the next day or so mate. But not sure about Paul James but he hasnt been on the board since before Cadwell race meeting. Am sure someone will reply in the next few days. |

well that would rule out all this years riders, as they are not allowed to have any higher than a national licence. Communication failure AGAIN |
It's not international It's EU dos'nt that count. |
Anyone who has a national can apply for a one-off international permit as I understand it. |
Any news on the insurance issue thingy ? |

You are correct in that, as that is what happens at Croix, and anywhere in the EU, so someone must have their wires crossed somewhere |
dont want to kick up a fuss but exactly how much is it going to be and when is some one going to take money out of my acount for it. (poor student have to count my pennys) |
You should have been charged Dom. Last Wednesday (29th March) you would have been charged. I think it's £130 for the trackday + race entry or £80 for just the race. I also understand that there will be a further charge for insurance??? but I'm not 100% on that. When I spoke to the ACU on Monday, that's the impression they gave me. |
