Did you ride with a lisp.:lol::lol: |
Very interresting prototype... I would have never thought the clutch could directly act on the rear wheel  I assume that's a dry one and wet ones use a scottoiler don't they? [Edité le 9-4-2006 par Tonio600] |

Classic Mr Ford, nice one. Who says Ducs are expensive to run.....a sprocket that lasts a thousand years and a tool kit that's never been used. WeeJohnyB |
And whilst we are talking about things Jools has forgotten-I found the ST's dashboard in my garage at the weekend-from 3 years ago at CSS-I assume you would like it back at sometime Jools-the storage charges are beginning to mount up.......................:lol::lol: JOhn |
:o:o:o:o:o:o fack me, glad you made it to the dentist and you really should look after your tool better you know :D |
I know ACU rules call for a shark fin chain protector but I don't think thats what they intended |
Jools, Eeekkk! the newness has been worn off that one. I hope you put a new chain on at the same time? Rgds, Rob |
Rob, Thanks to your generosity, the 'new' sprocket arrived just in time for the DD Cadwell weekend. However, my poorly wife had plans to stay with her friend in Devon so I never made it to Cadwell. I don't know why I didn't spot the condition of the sprocket when I bought the bike because I thought I'd given the it a good looking over, but my mechanical inspection was probably compromised by me being in "Red, Shiny...I want it" mode. Fordie and I put the sprocket on after the MotoGP on Saturday, just in time for the BHCN land speed record attempt. I would have put a new chain on in ordinary circumstances, but this month and for the foreseeable I'm short of about £1000 a month since my wife has been put on sick pay. Anything new will have to wait for a bit. Including the tools. That's the original 1993 toolkit that came with the bike by the way and I've never looked at it before. It's probably lain untouched in the underseat tray for the last 13 years |
I expect to see the Tool kit on the " antiques " road show very soon LOL :P |
