Fil2....Who\'s gonna stop him?

Couldn't make Brands with Mrs Jools being poorly, but I've just read the reports.

Well done Phil :D:D:D:D

Who's gonna stop him becoming the Geoff Spencer of Class B?

NBs996 24-Apr-2006 10:33

I'd be happy to have a go!
If only I can persuade Grib to lend me her bike again - or sneak into class B on the 620!!!

Difference between phil an geoff though, is that there's a few people capable of catching him... which is a good thing, it'll keep the ginger bloke on his toes.

Rattler 24-Apr-2006 10:33

It was an awesome performance from the feisty fella - top racing. He has the ability to get in front and keep putting consistent fast laps in again and again - inspirational stuff.

I always park next to him hoping some might rub off on me!!! ;)

Phil maybe finding it tough winning but unless I find a bit extra i'm not going to be much of a threat, maybe Griff64 (looks real good out there) or Paul Payne (was back to his old self at the weekend), maybe Andy99 (the comeback man of the Brands meeting) Chris will have to be a bit more consistent and stay on the track, both he and Andy have effectively dropped the worse two scores so need good results from now on and by good I mean finishing in front of Phil
At the moment the biggest threat to Phil is himself, needs to stay focused but in racing anything can happen either on or off the track and I'm sure Phil is well aware of this.

Not if he carries on with his poncy Orange Juice, hardly going to cloud his judgment is it?

Kind words Skids. Was really lookind forward to Brands after a good trackday early in the month and having a good tussle with Fil2.Unfortunately quallified 8th and got 2 average/bad starts.Took 2 long getting into 2nd,banged in some good lap times but got stuck in a great scrap with Andy99 and James on bike 10.Lap times stayed high though, equal to Fil2 but he was gone and very consistent
Race 2 same ,into 2nd a bit quicker but battled with And99 and lap times slowed alot until last lap.to much ducking and diving but very entertaining.
Again very impressive consistancy from Fils lap times.

Its up to me and everyone to get away with him and make him work for it like at Cadwell

H,mm never been to Castle Combe!:o

Spoken like an experienced riders rep Kev...

Consistency is the key and no more wet weather as I'm rubbish in the wet!

Let's not let Phil have it all to himself, I'm sure the trailing pack will continue to push each other and Phil on to quicker times.

Roll on....
