Assen points

I've done a quick search but not found anything on here. How are the points to be awarded for the Assen round. Will they be double to compensate for just one race?

Mike

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Double points ;)

I like that :D

multi600 03-May-2006 13:12

We have to drop the points from one round this year. So if its only single points then this would be the round (or Snett) to drop no point dropping two sets of points.

No, normal points for one race is the understanding I believe.

antonye 03-May-2006 13:13

It's two *races* not one *round*.

So you could drop Assen and another race.

Thats what I'll be doing.

Assen is One race so One set of points
Same for Snetterton

If you guys want an answer, you should know by now that you wont get one by posting something on the message board.

Use the proper route!

NBs996 03-May-2006 13:30

Chris, I think it was a "does anyone already know" type question.
In the absence of a "yes I know" type answer then the proper route would surely follow.

At least you give a clear answer to Mike's question when you have the opportunity.

Classic example of why people get stressed. All you had to say was "Don't be so silly Mike, it's normal points"

Question answered and no need for an email.

Does that make sense, or am I being retarded?

domski 03-May-2006 13:38

Oh, it also saves you getting 40 emails asking the same question too.

What a concise well reasoned and intelligent answer. You should have your own Desmo Due website:lol:

skidlids 03-May-2006 14:00

As a riders rep for Class B I get very little direct communication at all from the riders, I do get copied in on the desmodue emails but their is nothing to stop riders either sending me a U2U or email or even a phone call.

And if I can answer any questions I will, if I can't i'll suggest emailing the RC by the usual route in the hope that someone else can answer it.

My Answer to the question asked at the top of the post is contained in the sixth post down from the top

domski 03-May-2006 14:08

Fair points Kev.

I just don't understand Chris coming on here and saying "Email me, and I'll tell you" when he could just give the answer.

It's just creating more work for all concerned, and someone would end up posting it on the forum anyway.

:puzzled:

domski 03-May-2006 14:10

I understand the principle of emailing in the first instance, and agree that you do get answers faster.

...but to post on the thread and not answer the question confuses and frustrates me.

...and I'm sure Chris then get's fed up with us being fed up
