Thanks for the Torque Monster - DynoTech Tadley

Just to recommend and say thanks to the guys at Dynotech, near tadley, Basingstoke for the 4 hours they put into tuning the 749.

I ended up with 110rwhp on best run with gains of 5bhp+ across most the range. 60rw lbft torque. . Be interesting to see what it does on a different dyno as maybe that one was optimistic.

Will post the curves tomorrow, but the guys bent over backwards to map each cylinder seperately, with the fuelling for each one being quite different.

All be it on a different dyno on a different day, she did 100rwhp with the asymetric Termis. NO PC111.

With the 54mm termi pipes, unmapped she did 105rwhp, and 110rwhp with the PC111 mapped. apart from DP filters she is pretty much a stock 749.

cheers

Derek

The Dynatech guys know what they are about-Denis Trollope always takes his race TZ's to them to be run in and set up on the dyno-and he's based in Bristol.
If they can set up a race stroker a simple old diesel engined Ducati will be no problem............;)

Nice flat torque curve-that should be lovely to ride.

They had quite a few race bikes in when I was there, seems to be a big part of their business. I found them to be a great bunch of blokes and were happy to have a go at finding a way to map each cylinder individually, something they had never done before. But they found a way and did a real good job. Thoroughly recommended

They did a great job on my ZXR400 motor that we took to the TT in 2004, A couple of my friends use to race their ZXR400 in the KRC Endurance series which they won on a couple of occassions.

Howdie, sounds pretty good these guys just one small question what was the charge for the 4 hours rolling road/set up/cutom map?

Also derek/dave just become a dsc member and looking to hook up sometime with some locals for a rideout, based in chobham so sometime in the future we'll have to meet up if you guys fancy it?
