Sheds, naa they are ace, but like last year when it was a combined grid its bloody frustrating passing slower riders mid corner only to be pee`d all over on the straights, Then having to do the same guy again at the next corner and being held up....annoying.
I would love to run 2 bikes, But to be honest if I have money sat in the garage and am relying on other people entering to get to use them both out there, I would rather have one very sorted 620 and let someone else enjoy the 583.

Jon 16-May-2006 20:59

Any pics Glyn?

skidlids 16-May-2006 21:07

As I said in another thread I now have my entry regs for other events where we have two grids and I plan on entering both classes at Donington and Oulton even if my 620 isn't finished.
Nobody says I have to do full race distance in class A, I can always pull out after a few laps so not to interfere with any points battles going on.
If half a dozen or so of us compete in Both classes we may well have enough entries to ensure seperate grids

Murray Mint 16-May-2006 21:17

Great idea Kev, how are we going to get this going.

skidlids 16-May-2006 21:28

For me its easy as soon as Pay day arrives I will be filling in the Oulton Park entry and puting myself down for the 4 races @ a cost of £180.
I haven't been to Oulton since 1998 and will not be going before race day so the extra track time will come in handy especially as they have added a few chicanes since my one and only previous visit

Enthusiasm, no problem with that when it comes to Oulton Park, a Awesome circuit and worth the long drive up there and if I'm going £50 for two extra races is well worth it, just a shame I will not have the 620 sorted in time.

Yea but do you honestly belive we are going to get 2 grids???:lol:

domski 16-May-2006 23:21

The 583 riders don't need a 620 to enter class A anyway.

So we could have a grid of 25 x 583's and 44 x 620/583

Hopefully I'll be up front somewhere so it doesn't affect me.

I can see it being an issue when 583 riders start to muck up the 620 riders' races, much in the same way that 583 riders get upset when they have to combine with 620's. It swings both ways.

I would like to think so. The regs are out and it can be seen by everyone that the intention is to run 4 races for us on the day.
The main thing stoping that happening is our numbers.
With 30 riders so far having scored points in Class B aand the fact nobody has an advantage from racing there last year it will hopefully attract most of these riders, the same goes for about 23 riders from Class A, if that number could be bumped up to around 30 with out depleting the 583 grid I would think there would be a good chance of getting two grids.
And along these lines try and make sure one race doesn't follow straight after the other

Fair piont, But hope is not in my nature. Especially when it comes to NE.
And to be honest I cant warrant having 2 bikes in the garage just in case NE offer us the chance of 2 grids. Sorry but there are better things to do with a racebike than leave it sat awaiting the full moon on jupiter.
