Also, if you are going to buy a race style kit that has the full belly pan and seperate side fairings make sure the bellypan and fairings are designed to fit your model year. A lot of kits were done in 2003 when the 749 / 999 first came out. If your bike has the newer swing arm you will need a newer kit or cut the 2003 style kit belly pan. Again, make sure the belly pan will fit a deep sump motor, not all do.

The wind deflectors changed in 2004 and again most kits have the old 2003 style design.

Which ever way you go for the fairings you should consider a QB Carbon tank ... only one I've seen that is a larger capacity and styled on the Factory WSB tank, looks awesome.

Watch out for so called carbon tanks which are nothing more than a standard tank with a carbon skin on the top area with loads of filler and paint on the sides.

Ha ha!!!

You can only dream about what I have in my garage now mate, lets just say its very very full, after the new HD on I picked up on monday...

As for the 996S, its too pretty to sell, so its gonna be retired from road use and used on the track only.

Good job I have a very understanding wife:D

Now be a good boy and go and count your shirt buttons...

Ride a HD you must be getting on then. Is that your Retirement pension then. i bet you keep it under the bed. Did you get a fat boy:D or are you the fat boy. :D You should stop keeping your wife in the garage, she must fill it up, still i think i would keep her in the garage and the HD up the road best place for it.
