My New 749S Finally bought one 2004 Ducati 749S Termi Assemetric system Gel seat pad :) Airflow screen Powercoated wheels and swingarm from new 900 miles on the clock so the bike had never been used in the wet, so when i pick it up what does it do ? absolutly buckets down, i get home and the bike is cacked in dirt, i franticly dry and wash the dirt off and scottoiler FS365 everything. i look at the weather this week, Rain rain rain, what luck eh. anyway the bike is awsome, handles sublime. Probably the best sounding bike ive heard, its a beatiful thing. ill get some proper pictures up for you lot when the weather stops being shite. http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD...a?id=312888793 http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD...a?id=312888788 http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD...a?id=312888798 http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD...a?id=312888800 [Edited on 22-5-2006 by Wave] |
Very nice, like the black wheels. |
Great choice, enjoy. |
Is that a black painted swingarm? Nice! |
sorry about the weather, it's a shame when you get a new bike and it never stops raining, but it will it just seams to take for ever. hello by the way and welcome. I like the wheels as well. not sure about the swinging arm I want to see a polished swinging arm with black wheels, the rest standard hope the sun comes out soon for both owr sakes. :flame::burn::burn: |

Doh! Read post properly before replying... |
If you are going to fit a tail tidy for gods sake don't buy an Aresend, they are shite, I had to fit 3 number plates before I worked that out. But they are nice, I love mine.:D:D |
strongly recommend you get the suspension properly set up including raising the rear ride height - the standard ducati settings, certainly on the '03 749s, can be readily improved. Certainly the case with my now sold and still sorely missed 's', despite the fact that I'm now running a 999r...good luck with it. |

the engine braking is quite hard to get used to, blipping the throttle is the only real way unless you have a slipper. plus blipping sounds good with those Termis |
whats that green stuff coming out of the exhaust wave :frog: |
