Looks like we'll finally get to say hello - sorry about that

Grib 08-Jun-2006 08:59

What a fantastic day, good company, great track and the sun came out :D Just editing the pictures, will put a link up later.

ali 08-Jun-2006 09:37

Was a fantastic day. Baking hot, great company, a few decent laps, lots of laughs. :D

Thanks to Chass for the top din-dins the night before. Can't wait for the weekend....

Grib 08-Jun-2006 09:51

Well, I was going to be editing the pictures, but monkey bike boy has lost the upload lead, so that's that knackered.

Oh well, nevermind :D

Saved from embarrassment again - phew!!

ali 08-Jun-2006 10:43

You're alright Dom, I don't think they got any of you ramming innocent lads from behind. At least not on a bike.

paynep 08-Jun-2006 11:28

Call me an 'innocent lad' once more and I'll have the lawyers on you! I've worked years to develop a solid reputation as a bounder and a cad and won't have you ruin that!

Incidentally, did anyone see that completely reckless guy on the tri-color 583 SS? I personally saw him carve up every single person on the track. The marshalls must have been blind as I'm sure I saw him chopping someones head off with an axe while diving underneath a ZX6R at Quarry..... ;)

couchcommando 08-Jun-2006 12:32

LMAO the pics are a bit late but I gotta save up then go and buy a new lead ;) ;)

LOL @ Ali......

I know, shocking wasn't it! He strangely only seemed to be annoyed by things with Kawazuki or somthing written on the side....most odd!

He was by far the most dangerous person on the track, much worse than Torpedo Dom, or those grasstracking gixxers.....

Lovely Day

It was a very good day. Just seeing if I can post a the two pictures I took with my new camera, using my new computer - what are the chances?

Thanks TP. That was remarkably quick for me, actually!

So looking good for the prospect of getting my RTL pictures on here after the weekend too :-)

Redruth 08-Jun-2006 16:41

Sample Photos

That's Paul next to his own and Ali's bike and the other one is Ericthered, Dom and Ali with Dom's bike in the foreground. I hope you're all suitably impressed. I certainly am. If you knew how much I don't know, you'd actually be amazed.

I hope you all have a great time at CC. I shall be willing you all to do well from my vantage point 270 miles away in the Lake District.

domski 08-Jun-2006 16:57

They're nice pics considering a burd took them ;)

It doesn't look as hot as it felt, I've only just stopped melting

Grib 08-Jun-2006 17:05

That's a fine figure of a man in that first shot :D I'll post up Couch's shots when we get a new lead

IT'S ALL TRUE ALL OF IT.

I go out in the last combined session behind him and the instructor, follow for a lap then take the pair of them and get down to business. :D

Then WHAM he gives it to me good and hard  I spend the next two laps trying to repay the compliment.

He came over to say sorry so he knows he's doing it.

He's brakes were metal to metal so he can't stop. I told him not to change them before the race.

What a lovely fella, I took two seconds off me best lap time trying to catch back up to him. One to watch in the 583 me thinks.

TP 08-Jun-2006 22:11

This thread is useless without times

:rolleye:

At least you got to catch him - I couldn't get close. Something to do with having to ride through the carnage he left behind.

He's quick across the grass too!!! :o

You would need to be faster than last year ;)

domski 09-Jun-2006 00:19

Wot he said

Griff 64 09-Jun-2006 00:33

I don,t know i go away from the computer for the best part of the day to find a fine thread hijacked by a load of Ninja Winja lovers.

Cracking day though.Soooo knackered on the way home i had to stop 4 times, fellthrough the door at home and fell straight asleep on the sofa till 2am....Result.

Has to be the strangest place to do a trackday though.A lad next to us on a Suzuki recorded 60 miles on his trip only.Thats not alot of tracktime for £125.
Couch the monkey boy did more than that on his new pet.
Mind you Suzuki man found it hard to ride after i kneecapped him and wizzed up his van.

Griff 64 09-Jun-2006 11:44

Wipe that drool away young lady.Any bloke with a pierced nipple has got to have issues!

Grib 09-Jun-2006 11:59

LOL! As if I was looking, I have eyes for one man only ;)
