Almost Friday, so....

Before the 2001 inauguration of George Dubya Bush, the Clintons invited him to look around the White House before he moved in. After drinking several coffees, he asked Bill Clinton if he could use his personal bathroom.

When he entered Clinton's private toilet, he was astonished to see that President Clinton had a fancy solid gold urinal.

That afternoon, George Dubya told his wife, Laura, "Just think " he said, "when I am president, I could have a golden urinal too. But I wouldn't do something that self-induligible!"

A few weeks later after George and Laura Bush had moved in, Laura invited Hillary round for tea, during which she told Hillary that Dubya was really disappointed that the golden urinal had been removed from the Presidents private bathroom.

That evening, when Bill and Hillary were getting ready for bed, Bill said to Hillary, "well, did you have an interesting day with Laura?". "Not really" said Hillary "but I found out who ****ed in your saxophone". ;)

I've tried to reply four times I Bloody well give up, this message board is PANTS

Redruth 15-Jun-2006 17:45

I think now is a busy time. I just tried to log on and reply and couldn't. It is frustrating. I'm more concerned about how this looks to people looking at joining the DSC.

Jools, quite funny but not really up to your usual standards.

Lee 15-Jun-2006 17:46

Redruth 15-Jun-2006 17:48

Lee, didn't see whether you responded to the question by Dseered and someone else, can't remember who, whether you took the photo of the pontoon that emulates your Avatar?

Sorry to highjack your thread Jools but I am reluctant to try to access another thread in case I get booted out again. x

It is funny, Jools, I'm just suffering from a temporary sense of humour by pass on account of studying family law all day for exams next week.

Or it might be yet another side effect of the new medication.

I hope not.

KeefyB 15-Jun-2006 19:15

Good luck with the exams Ruth.
Fingers crossed for ya.

Redruth 15-Jun-2006 19:17

Thanks Keith. Last lot .... ever! I am never studying anything ever again. Seven years of law. Just need to pass this last lot and that's the end of it. Unless they decide to regulate Will writing, in which case, I'll have to take more - or sell up, buy a truck, load the bikes and dog into it, and ***k off.
(can you tell it's getting to me?)

Some sort of party required afterwards then!:D

Redruth 15-Jun-2006 19:29

Could do. I'm rewarding myself with a trackday at Oulton on the 28th. BBQ at John and Lily's the evening before which I shall privately label 'my end of studying' party. Can't get drunk though. Have to ride the next day. Just seen a video of the track that Dominic Clegg has posted. Need my wits about me for that one. We know I can't ride when I've been drinking, don't we?

Ronaldinio and teammates are drawn top play against England.

Ronald says to his mates "Listen, this'll be a walk over, you lot get off and go round the town and I'll take England on my own"
Mates " Wow, cheers. If you really think you can do it by yourself you go ahaed and we'll see you after the game"

Ronald steps out onto pitch the lone player agains the full England squad.
After ten minutes Ronald scores - it's 1-0

After the match all his mates come laughing into the dressing room to see Ronald sat down crying, head in hands.
Mates "Ay-up, what's up?"
Ronald "I'm afraid we only managed a draw, 1-1"
Mates "Why that's briliant mate, a draw, at lest we didn't lose to them. Why so sad then?"
Ronald " I let you all down, I got sent off after 12 minutes"
