p.s. BSB on Men and Motors at 3. Thought I'd mention it. Hard time tracking it down. High flyer channels seem to prioritise such daft sports? p.p.s. Andy B - Managed to find a box large enough and it's on its way - Saturday. p.p.s. Get well soon LC!!!!!!!!! |
Holy ****. That was NUTS! |
That was some accident, I understand about racing incidents, but, I can imagine Gib' having an interesting conversation with his boss and Cap' tonight. Not that he needed help, but, the whole race played in to Rossi's hands. Similar results over the next 2 weeks and Rossi could be back on top. Guess it depends on Hayden keeping his form. |
I want a set of those brakes!!!Oh,and the ability to use them!! |
Thank an 'omnipotent being' they're both okay. A really nasty one. It seemed to get worse with every replay. |
how to bin several thousands Euro... plus Ducati flying.. 3 Attachment(s) What a race incident... these guys deserve all my respect. Loris looks Ok after the last exams, Marco has a dislocated shoulder but probably thanks to doctor "butcher" costa he will probably ride Assen!! Gibernau broken collarbone.. Few pics from "la gazzetta" Italy... |
|
look at the black lines from Capirossis front wheel!!:0 |
[quote=Brogins]What a race incident... these guys deserve all my respect. I think there is no question of the size/hardness of Sete's footballs, but sadly I don't think his head is as strong. Poor Loris has only 3 clear days to get himself ready to have to jump back onboard his bike for practice on thursday in Assen. |
That crash was sickening. Bit like the Silverstone WSB start of the race. But for both Ducatis to be taken out at the same time, dreadful. And the resulting race, although skilful and still exciting and awesome riding, particularly for 3rd and 4th place I thought, left things a bit flat, compared with Mugello and Rossi vs Capirossi, I thought. Still, that's racing. Risk and reward, I suppose. |
Made me feel sick I know that, and then the slow motion replays, and Malandri stuck under that bike - Not nice at all :( |

My thoughts also. Domski, been on the phone to Ducati yet? They may need somebody for Assen! |

You could see the puff of smoke from Gib's helmet as he went over the bars and landed on his head and took the full impact :o |
arai are good lids..... Quote:
My next helmet will be an Arai..again...!!! |
According to the Ducati website, Sete's ambulance was involved in an accident on the way to the hospital.... |
Quote:
Almost?   He did beat a couple of old Ducati's. Incidently, YOU could have been 12th  I suppose he did finish at least ;) |
To finish first, first you have to finish.... That was one hell of a crash though... So who will stand in for Gibbers at Assen? Guareshi or whatever he is called? Bayliss???? |
Haslam? |
Ron? Or Lavilla..... ...or the best choice of all - Dom? |
Assen is soooooooooo last month!! |
