MotoGP: BBC2 or Eurosport UK? Which do you prefer? |
Only ever watch the beeb during the ad breaks on eurosport. |
eurosport every time. |
BBC. Can't be arsed to sit through the advert breaks and potentially miss many of the interesting bits. |
Eurosport - no question - the guys, Julian and Toby are so knowledgeable too - a bit anorak, but well worth listening to. Randy Mamola also offers great insight into the paddock when the race is on. Tim |
eurosport no question their coverage has stood the test of time, and long may it continue the BBC just turn up for the glory look how they dumped Superbike so I'll stick with eurosport, and as others have said the commentators no their stuff the team works |
Eurosport. I don't even look at the BBC coverage. Randy is great at getting quick, to the point comments from the guys in the pits and Julian and Toby are just brilliant because they love it so much. Last week Julian had to stop talking, he was so wrapped up in what was happening on the track. It's like having a couple of mates who really know their stuff passing the information you want back to you. On the downside, the adverts are competely annoying - advertisers are wasting their money interrupting the MotoGP because they only serve to alienate viewers, I think. Suzuki, ride the winds of change - what the hell does that mean?? |

its a small price to pay for well over a decades top coverage  |
I suppose you're right, Keith? But even Julian makes comments about the 'well timed' advert brakes. I just hate missing the action - it's not as if those advertisements register - or do they? |

but they pay for the show. that's why I stick with erosport. if the advertisers think people aint watching then leave. we will be stuck with the BBC and when they go to the next big thing. we will have to go to Sky And with them you have to pay and get adverts |
I'm clearly struggling with the modern idiom - I don't understand what 'parp' means either |

Spot on Tim, Eurosport every time. Chris.:burn: |
Eurosport everytime, as you say Toby and Julian just love their jobs so much! As for the adverts, quick flick to bbc2 until the adverts have finished, simple innit! BBC guys seem so drool compared. As for Suzi.... |
BBC 2for me -ive only got poor mans telly:lol: |
Bit of both really. Eurosport to start with cos there's the whole shebang of the other classes too. When it comes to the main event, BBC2 cos I prefer the commentators, and hate ads. If it overruns and BBC have to go to International Ironing or something, then I switch back. Unless there's a storm here in Switz and my satellite doesn't pick up BBC!!! Ade. |
I haven't got a choice. My house is 100 or so yards from the nearest road. NTL won't run a cable just for me and the Sky bloke said he couldn't fit a dish because of the trees (for that read "can't be arsed to fetch my ladders 100 yards).... BBC it is then. |
Always Eurosport because BBC2 hardly ever shows it! If it is on I'll switch to BBC2 during the breaks - I'm glad I did today because both of Rossi's decisive moves were during breaks on Eurosport but were shown on BBC2! |

why not get a freeview box with a top up tv card (£7.99 a month)? Gets Eurosport from 12.30 till 23.00 |
Eurosport everytime, however when i flicked over and Suzi P was wearing nice little shorts and some FMB's (now im torn between them!!) Still the Eurosport trio are superb in detail and knowledge. |
Got to be eurosport everytime ! That Charlie cox on the bbc does my head in !!!!!! Age |
I prefer Euro Sport for the good commentry however the adverts do suck! Whenever there is an advert they all change positions in the race and you go "ahh how did he get there"? |
Eurosport every time! Julian Ryder and Toby Moody have the balance right. And quote of the day yesterday from Toby Moody: 'If you leave a crack open, Rossi is going to get it!' :-o |
Yep - I was just thinking how damn good Eurosport are. The teams comments are always interesting and the Ultimate Lap segment is a fantastic idea - adverts are a small price to pay when the coverage is so good. |

Like a modern day Murray Walker and James Hunt act, but this time you get 2 comediens for the price of 1. |
The beebs build up and interviews is usually worth watching but once the race starts proper its over to eurosport, Charlie cox would much rather be watch a car race, I just can' t be doing with his commentary. The Eurosport trio commentate for the enthusiast not the Sun readers who just happen to be watching before the kick ball. Ray. |
