Competitor Tickets

Hi,

An extra person was coming with me to oulton this weekend but has pulled out. Not having any friends or relatives up north I will have a spare ticket. I can leave the ticket at the gate.
Actually I will be arriving on Friday morning so if they don't take my tickets at the gate I may well have 3 tickets available.
Let me know if any of you are interested.

Cheers

Franco

Franco, they arent opening the gates till 7.30pm on the Friday to bike racers, as there is a car trackday all day on the Fri:(

MSV are usually pretty strict about not opening before time Ian. (eg, clear the garages first)
We've had to wait outside the gate at Brands before now.

But, We'll give it a go anyway - as aiming to get there by about 6pm;)

Where are you guys parking? We were planning to aim for the back of the main paddock, kind of opposite the pit toilets, so we're not too far from them or scrutineering, but far enough out the way to get some sleep! Quite nice backing onto the Oak trees, better view than another scruffy van/caravan anyway :)

I thought Butch was aiming to be up at the Restaurant end, but at the back Lucie.

Me? - I dont really care as might be only one bike on board anyway.

But a good bit of shade would help, so see you on the back fence - somewhere near the paddock exit gate I guess???

As I haven't a faintest idea of the paddock layout at Oulton much of the above means nothing to me, anybody got a plan view with the mentioned areas marked on it.

CK 03-Jul-2006 19:50

Basically Kev, you enter the raceway like some others (Brands/Cadwell etc), make your way along the entry track up to the paddock entry gate (passing a track on the left to the paddock exit gate which has a no entry sign on it).
As you enter the paddock, the garages are in front of you (latrines on the left of them at the end as you look at them, and medi centre even further to the left eh NBs?), the holding area is to your right at 3 o'clock (and the restaurant hard right just outside the gate) the scrut garages are to your far left - past the paddock exit.
I think where Lucie is trying to aim for is to turn left in the paddock entry gate and park half way between the paddock entry and the exit, somewhere close to the fence nr the trees.

Lucie - am I right?

CK 03-Jul-2006 20:38

we will do our best to sneak in Ian;) tho as I mentioned, we might have to sidetrack off after Brum to collect Tango on the way - so then wont get there till about 7.30 anyway, as we cant leave home till 2 at the earliest.

You going to cook my brekkie in the morning?:D you cook so well..........:ninja:

CK 03-Jul-2006 20:51

Of course you can park near us mate, you can help with the spannering too:D and the teas, oh - and lunch:lol:

seriously Ian - be good to see you there, just bring your pert little bottom too:lol:

mwah
xx
