Thanks to Ali, Andy and Ian for some great close racing, I'm learning lots from you lot. Dom - you missed a great race out there - where were you? ;)

Congrats to Dom And Phil for doing the double - great racing.

That's enough of being sycophantic - I might make myself sick. ;)

domski 09-Jul-2006 11:21

Well done Tim, great rides & a great report :D

:)

TP 09-Jul-2006 11:36

What Dom said, I was really impressed with your riding this weekend Tim.

Congratulations on a 3rd and a 2nd! Only one spot to go now!

Of course I know you understand that if I was racing yesterday you would have had a 4th and a 3rd ;)

Grib 09-Jul-2006 11:47

Excellent stuff, really happy for you :) Keep it up for Donington!

couchcommando 09-Jul-2006 11:48

Great results mate, you wanna disconnect the power commander more often ;) ;)

ali 09-Jul-2006 12:07

Very chuffed for you Tim. Fantastic rides, loads of ballsy moves on Ian & Andy, and you did me twice into Shell Hairpin in perfect BSB style, outside of cascades to the inside of the hairpin. It was great fun to sit at the back of the pack and watch, but I was sure you & Andy were going to take each other out into the second chicane.....every lap!

Well done, but feel free to relax now you've got some silverware! Last thing we need is more bloody competition..... ;)

Cheers,

Ali

Rattler 09-Jul-2006 12:38

Thanks guys and Grib - really happy with the meeting, but I did want to get under 2 mins though - missed out by 4 hundredths of a sec!!! - onward and upwards!!! ;)

Chaz 09-Jul-2006 12:43

AK 09-Jul-2006 13:11

well done Tim it was real finger chewing stuff watching that chicane at the bottom:o

Fordie 09-Jul-2006 13:44

Excellent riding Tim, just great to stand on track side with the "family" and watch it all. Great weekend in the paddock with our new spannerbabe Harry,Im sure he had a good time amid all the noise and going's on toing and froing from and to trackside in the supabuggy. 4D

andys 900ss 09-Jul-2006 14:36

Yeah, well done Tim.

Good to see you back on your own bike and nice one to Nelly for spending 'The Match' putting your new loom in. 2 mins? On a recent trackday, there were only a few in the fast group dipped under on 180bhp beasts!!

What will it be like with the PC back in!!

Andy

Dementor 09-Jul-2006 18:25

Well done Tim, was great to watch.

Jon 09-Jul-2006 21:51

Fantastic news Tim, did it all the correct way as one would expect from you.
Took your time to get the experience and convidence that you needed, while keeping the bike upright. I'm sure that elusive first place isn't too far away.

I agree Jon.

Tim has done it totally the right way. It's a great example to newbies on how to race. Learn what it's all about before jumping in head first.

Novices take note!

Certainly a contender for the title in 2007. No pressure like ;)

Well done Rattlybollox (again)

The last chicane was truely superb lads... Andy stuffing Tim on the brakes (with broken bones) and Tim must have just thought "**** it, i'm not braking for the right hander" and stuffed him right back.

Tim Howard made the move there from TD/Wanabee into a true racer.... 12 months ago Tim, you'd have been 4th in that one... not only would you have lost the 2nd, but you'd have bottled it on pressure and lost 3rd to Ian.

Excellent mate... bloody well.done.

Rattler 10-Jul-2006 08:08

Thanks - I'd worked too hard to get to 2nd and I wasn't giving it up for anyone ;)

Firefly 10-Jul-2006 08:43

Well done Tim, You did so well at the weekend and you were great to watch. I will try to sort out some footage for you :O)
