Bikesafe Anyone does this? Was it worth it? I was chatting to the Coppers at the Quay last night and have requested details as I am in the risk category: Fairly young, back to biking, not done advanced training etc etc |

I have done it and it is a really usefull day out. It makes you take stock of your riding and they give you guidance for minimising the chance of an accident. you won't regret it |

Ive done one and felt that it was excellent value for money. I'd recommend them to any rider no matter what their level of ability. |

Ho! Ho! Keep kidding yourself Paul! Sorry - yes, you should do it. You'll learn something and have a good time. |

I did say fairly! My mate is 39 (I think) and said he was in the donor category. Nice they don't use scare tactics! |

Go with an open mind and you'll always learn something from these rides |

I did it in London in December on the Monster. Well worth it, in spite of a slight hiccup in the morning because I didn't take proof of insurance (because they hadn't written to me to ask for it so only took my licence). By the time they got that sorted out I wasn't able to go out on the morning ride, which was annoying but the afternoon was very useful. I think if you learn just one thing that keeps you safer it's worth it. Road positioning was the most helpful thing for me, I think. Anyway, you've got nothing to lose and possibly something to gain so go with an open mind and positive approach and you'll have a good day. |

i managed to get a place on the all dayer northants police do at silverstone but me bloomin brother has decided to get married that day:mad: must say that i did the road based one a couple of years ago and it was supurb. think it does depend on who you get though i was shown to use the whole carridge way in order to increase visability through bends etc have since been to a small talk by police advanced instructor who said it is a big no no |

The Dorset one is 3 hours of which 2 are on road apparently. Don't have a price yet. |
