DD commentary...

Just a thought as the last 2 meetings the commentator has got many many things wrong...

Including not know the championship tables, the classes, the bikes etc...

Shouldn't someone make him a little more informed and give him a bit of paperwork or a pep talk etc?

Just thinking out loud based on something Phoenix said in other thread ?

Can't the tables/points be given to him the night before ? And all about the bikes, the club etc etc.

I would think it's all in hand.

The press officer is bound to be on top of it ;)

phoenix n max 12-Jul-2006 15:30

We have a press occifer ? Who ?

domski 12-Jul-2006 15:33

You mean you don't know?

phoenix n max 12-Jul-2006 15:35

I know nuffink :( as usual !!! I really think you ought to inform them that your name is not Puffski though - cos it make i laugh it do ;)

weeksy2 12-Jul-2006 15:43

I'd have thought it would all have been in hand almost 2 years ago.... However... that's not the case :)

Oh but I'm sure it is.

Just that it's still in the Press Officers hand and not the commentators

Trust Weeksy to start stirring things up though - typical!!!

psychlist 12-Jul-2006 16:09

Can't blame me for trying...

I went and and had a nice little chat with the commentator at Castle Combe early on the Saturday with a typed up list of the DD field, riders names and numbers in big print so he wouldn't have to work off the programme, obviously with no self interest whatsoever

I wasn't around to listen to the commentary but it sounds like that did a lot of good then

phoenix n max 12-Jul-2006 16:14

My responses went somethink like :

What ?
No we don't
Who ?
Oh no we can't !
Are they talking about us ?
Good Grief !!

Thats a shame if you had given them info as the delay on the grid gave them there chance really - They did come down on the grid which was nice and Dom I think put them right on the warmers bit.

Yeah, that's right. I told Larry that we're not allowed to use warmers for more than an hour at a time ;)

Only on Corsa's though, standard Diablo's don't need warming up ;)

domski 12-Jul-2006 16:26

phoenix n max 12-Jul-2006 16:28

Yeah he then went on to say '' really ? , I'm sure I saw warmers on a Desmo bike in the paddock - oh well''

Well we are in SOT - tut !

Psychlist -
