Pirelli Diablo Corsa's £139.99 Got sent an E-Mail advertising these today,is it a good price and has anyone heard of the company before? From what i can make out postage is only £4.50 which is what's making me slightly suspicous. https://www.thefastone.co.uk/products.asp?cat=218 |
Blimey that's a great price innit. £30 cheaper than the standard Diablo!! |
But have you heard of the company before? And does it sound too good to be true before i part with my hard earned? |
As a guide I pay £160 a pair, fitted to loose wheels and balanced, that's about the best price i've managed to find. |
Haven't heard of them, but it looks genuine enough - although they are based in Wales :o |
Very good price, just need to amke sure you can get them fitted at a decent price as well. And no, never heard of the supplier. |
Just done a search on VD, and there are threads going back over 2 years, so I guess they've been about for a while. They seem to get a lot of recommendations. |
Oh it's MPS. They've been around for donkey's years ;) |
You don't fancy the Dragon Evo's for £109 a pair then? https://www.thefastone.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=901174 |
I quite fancy having a go at fitting my own tyres and balancing them, from what i've seen on the 'how to' on www.ducatisti.co.uk it's not too difficult and the kit would be paid for after 3 tyre changes. |
They used to be known as MPS. They're as reputable as it's possible for a mail-order firm to be. I've never had any issues with them in the past - been around for years. That's a very good price for tyres. |
I've bought loads of bits and pieces from them in the past for various bikes. You don't get the specialist knowledge you might get from a smaller shop but their systems are good and the stuff is well packed. |
Ahhh, that would explain alot,i know MPS,why did'nt they send an e-mail explaining the name change?I'll be on the phone monday then.;) |
