Pinlock Visors Does anyone have a Arai visor drilling tamplate that they could fax/mail/e-mail to me. Failing that, do you know where I can get one? Yesterday, I bought an insert but it doesn't come with a drilling template and I am not inclined to risk guessing and ruining a perfectly good Arai visor. TIA, Rob |
You can Contact Jeff Swan on 01782 569 845 he's the technical bloke at Arai he could fax you one :) |
MM, Great idea, many thanks. Rgds, Rob |
Rob I think I have one. I bought the kit for my HJC helmet last year and have not fitted it yet. I think the standard template was an Arai one. Will check tonight. |
No Worries Rob, becareful about other visors though, cos they're all very different, so definately go for arai one. |
ROB - LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GET ON AS IM IN THE SAME BOAT..SEE YOU CAN BUY A FITTING KIT BUT THERE SILLY MONEY !!! ALSO, WHEN YOUVE DRILLED IT WHERE DO YOU GET THE LITTLE DIMPLE JOBBERS TO GO IN THE VISOR ?? nAT |
****** sorry Rob. For my HJC helmet I have a Shoei template (which is the universal one) and an Arai insert! Confused? Yep. So no Arai template... |
hey.. i have just had mine done at Bikestop Stevenage (think thats a bit far for you) but my guess would be if you called a couple of local bike shops one of them would do it... either that or a good excuse for a long ride out...!! |
Rob Actually I think Gear Box in Poole used to do them.... |
I used the shoei kit with template and 'little dimple jobbers' for my x-spirit. Dont remeber it as being expensive and was about 5 mins to do. |
