Haslam@Croft - race 2

Unbelievable!

What can you say about a ride like that?

:o

Loz 13-Aug-2006 17:08

God-like. It was almost Rossi-like! Superb.

Redsps 13-Aug-2006 17:15

he's got a great future, must have nerves of steel..... I wish I could ride like that.

well done.

Jasper 13-Aug-2006 17:41

Michael Rutter may have a slightly different slant on it!!But yes,AWESOME ride.Harris was gutted.9 second in 4 laps,2.5 seconds in the last lap,he shouldn't really have lost that, should he?

Glyn 13-Aug-2006 17:51

tried to watch it..............
fell asleep:o

doogalman 13-Aug-2006 17:59

I can't help feeling that harris didn't know that he was closing that quick on the last lap, maybe he had backed off a bit, thinkink it was safe to. would be interesting to see the lap times of the last few laps.
Good race nevertheless.

V2 PETE 13-Aug-2006 18:03

wicked !

had my doubts if he could do it

but he did it in style !

twpd 13-Aug-2006 18:03

He knew - he just didn't have an answer. I've never seen Haslam ride so well. Just look how he dropped Gregorio.

andyb 13-Aug-2006 18:20

Er......spoiler in title for the grumpies?

and it was brilliant, edge of the seat stuff! With a bit of luck he could win the title!!....and then, i see him and greg in a wsb team next year.............leon maybe even replacing lanzi?

diehard 13-Aug-2006 19:33

Superb ride, well worth getting soaked for. Glad to be there for his first win, he was like a man possessed

Ray 13-Aug-2006 22:16

Croft in August........that'll be a fleece, waterproofs and a flask of Hot choccy needed then:o

Luckily the racing made it worth going. Got home and the central heating had to go on:eek: We'd had a power cut as well but luckily after the ITVs coverage. It's grim oop North!

Anyone else see Chris Walker wandering around? We spotted ya Guido and Ang & Jnr Bumped into to you later.

Nice to witness Leons Ist BSB win. Well done Sean Emmett as well.

Ray

Watch that last laps again. I think the back marker took more out of Harris than he knew. Help Haslam no end.

andyb 14-Aug-2006 10:57

Harris quote." i had 2 1/2 seconds on the pit board last lap, i thought id got it...........then what do i hear behind me, a bloody ducati!"
