M23 - a big-up to ...
 

... whoever it was that posted here recently to inform us of the presence of a dark blue unmarked police car patrolling the M23. That heads-up, plus some eagle-eyed observation on my part, enabled me to avoid, ahem, a situation on the way back from Cadwell this morning. :o

Another big-up goes to the lads occupying said unmarked car, for their clear understanding of my desire to make, ahem, progress on my way home and for the cheery wave they gave me when they went past me. Happy to buy them a couple of pints anytime ;)

There is also a silver c class merc working the M23 near gatwick.

It`lbe interesting to see if these covert camera units will be banned in light of recent human right issues and questions over the legality of covert surveilance without the correct authorisation from senior officers!

Can you recall what make / model the car is ?

I'm pretty sure it was a BMW, but I'm **** with cars, they all look the same to me. It had twin headlamps and four wheels anyway. Looked pretty nice.

screaming up n down the M23 in Mitsi Evos !!
saw them yesterday............well just for a very short while as they blasted past my Volvo so quick I thought the doors were gonna be sucked off !
